In terms of a life event, there was not really much she could have done. By the same token, what did Joey do? I can't even remember his contribution in the last episode.

He bought another chick and duck as a present for Chandler, Monica and the twins.

That's about it for his contribution to the last ep. He was the only friend who didn't have a happy ending.

Also, Monica gets upset that Rachel isn't sad about moving out because it's emotional for Joey and Chandler. Why did that bother her?

Well, apart from Rachel, who is now stuck in a relationship with an immature, jealous, overly possessive, controlling jerk.

Ross & Rachel's story ends with the words '....before turning the gun on himself.' Probably about four years after the show ended.

I think that's one of the reasons Matt LeBlanc did the Joey series - Joey Didnt have a story on the show his character never developed really

On the topic of the Princess Leia episode, I have a minor gripe.

It probably doesn't matter now having seen all the episodes numerous times, but it is a bit frustrating that they roll the credits during the tag scene where Ross pictures his mother when Rachel is dressed as Leia, as Christina Pickles is credited before you actually see her make her appearance.

Although you could probably see the joke coming a mile off even as a first time viewer, it does kind of spoil the gag a bit.
Unfortunately in the days before the casts of episodes were all computerised, in smaller TV networks you'd have to send information to the Stage Actors Guild of who were in the episodes of the shows you'd broadcast the previous night and to do this the tapes from the previous night would be given to someone who'd literally just watch the cast list at the start of the show

Thus if you aren't in that list you probably won't be correctly compensated by the Guild and receive all the credits that an episode broadcast gets you

(esp important when those credits include things like Medical Benefits eligibility

If an actor doesn't appear in the credits sequence then that will have to have been done with permission from the actor themselves

And Monica didn't appreciate that at all

Watching the episode where Phoebe gives birth and I think it's been talked about on here before but the whole episode is a bit surreal.
The fonzie loving doctor is random.
Joeys doctor saying "kidney stones" in a gleeful way? Am I missing something here?
Monica and Chandlers petty fight...
And Monica sitting on Ross's lap at the end
. I just can't

Not too sure but I always found it funny. And nice wording as that actor went on to star in Glee

Not so much a gripe, but just noticed the episode where Phoebe has the twins was on Comedy Central tonight, named 'The One With The Triplets'.

Ive always known it be called 'The One Hundreth'

Yes, it can kind of be understood why Rachel needed to be out of Ross's life but it was completely at the expense of the rest of the gang

Well I think they could've sorted it out in the long run. but then Rachel did try and sabotage the relationship and they all knew it so maybe not!

I saw that birth episode on CC earlier. That kidney stones doctor was quite funny.

The One Hundredth is a weird episode. Phoebe becomes really selfish soon after, with her PBS boycott and fur coat

Phoebe was treated badly when Monica wouldn't let her play with her dollhouse

And the slightly inappropriate scene when the dollhouse burns down and Ross feels the need to burst in on Monica in the shower

Ross tells Phoebe that dinosaurs don't go "woof". Does he have anyway of proving that?

Good question

In the episode where Phoebe dates the fireman and the teacher, she mentions that she is playing "tonight" when they find out. It is clearly daytime

Same episode, why does Pete wear a suit to tell Monica about his desire to be ultimate fighting champion?

In summer it is broad daylight at 7, Which would count as tonight

A very, very petty gripe:

In numerous scenes, whenever a character (or more likely an actor) leaves either Monica or Joey's apartments, they leave the wrong way i.e. not the way where the stairs are.

Granted, there might be a second set of stairs or an elevator but in ten years we never see them arrive that way.

Laziness on the actors' part and laziness on the director's part to not simply say "remember to head for the stairs, people!"

Told you it was petty.
