I suppose Joeys intelligence was mocked in a "awww poor stoopid Joey isn't he cute" way and Ross was a laughing stock (although not afraid to argue and make fun of the girls too) where as "pathetic loser" Chandler had it made with his wife and career, even when he changed career so it was just any old personal insults coming his way.

Rachel writing Ross an 18 page letter was odd and very mean. In the same episode, it is very unclear how Ursula knew about her and Phoebe's birth mom as the suicide note was clearly a lie
In the season 4 DVD box there is a picture of Ross and Chandler dressed as Flock of Seagulls/ Hall and Oates. That wasn't until season 5 (I know that isn't relevant to any episodes but still worth pointing out) |

Of course, one of the biggest gripes must be sitting down to watch an episode, then realising after a couple of minutes that it's a clip show...

That's Rachel all over though she waited for him to break up with Bonnie then sprung the letter on him... How long did even take her to write that!!

Chandler is meant to hate dogs and apparently can't stand being anywhere near them. However in the episode where Pheobe asks Monica and Chandler to look after 3 dogs they quite excitedly say yes, and in another episode Chandler is sitting right next to Pheobe when her real mother gives her a dog.
Joey's increasing stupidity is also very annoying. The one where he tries to speak french towards the very end of the series is just cringe worthy at how stupid he had become! |

Not a gripe, but I wonder why the writers decided to make Monica fat in the past. I get that the visual sight of a young fat Monica was motive enough in the flashback episodes, but the first of those was the middle of Season 2, yet itwas mentioned she had been fat in some of the very early Season 1 episodes. I wonder why.

I suppose it set her up as Rachels faithful but lesser friend and gives a bit more back story to her childhood conflicts with Ross And the feeling of inadequacy she got from her parents. it starting getting a bit less subtle towards the end of the show though leading to the dreadful relevation that it was Chandlers jibe that inspired her to lose so much weight.

Another thing they did to try and make out her and Chandler were destined to be together was in the one that could have been where Monica was still fat, Rachel was still married to Barry, Chandler was writing stories for Archie's comics, Ross was still with Carol etc. Monica ended up losing her virginity to Chandler as Chandler pretended that Monica's partner had an emergency at the hospital in order to get him out of the picture. I don't believe Chandler and Monica would have ever got together like that. Monica even says herself in a later episode that she didn't believe that her and Chandler were destined to be together they just happened to fall in love. |

And in the episode with the beach house where Monica thinks she would never date Chandler.
I hated the one that might have been it basically reduced Monica and Chandler to two desperate losers who settled. Although there was an undercurrent of that in their actual relationship at times too |

In the Dollhouse episode. Ross bursts in on Monica in the shower and she says something about a foot massager

Yea Ross says "sorry for bursting in on you" and Monica says "it's ok but by the way I was just checking the massager" or something to that effect

I thought it was implied she was masturbating as well.
Anyway, just watched the Monica/Chandler wedding episodes on CC. The thing with Joey's small feet is pretty dumb. It seems unlikely that neither Ross or Chandler would have noticed this before in the 10 years they have known him and just as unlikely that they would both suddenly notice separately on the very same day. |

Chandler, out of all of them, you would think would have noticed how small his feet were considering he lived with him for so long. |

Considering both Ross and Joey are aware of the size of Chandlers manhood you think something like Joeys feet would've been noticed at some point
In the episode where Chandler and Ross clean the apartment for Monica, I find it odd that Chandler's excuse was "Ross is naked". I'm sure Monica wanted to enter anyway if I remember correctly |

Also Joey took off his shoes (and everything else) in front of them all when they were playing strip poker in the beach house

At the end of one episode Ross is in Central Perk with Phoebe & Rachel talking about the engagement ring that Chandler had just bought. When he says it really is a beautiful ring Phoebe says: "you should know you bought like a billion of them". At the start of the following episode everyone (apart from Monica) are at Monica's when they are looking at the ring and Ross says it really is a beautiful ring and Rachel says: "Well you should know you bought like a billion of them".
It's only because I watched the episodes back to back and obviously when they were first broadcast there was a week between them but I just thought it was a bit lazy of the writers to use the exact same joke two episodes in a row. Rachel even says in the first scene that I mentioned above that she never got a ring and Ross says in the next episode to Rachel that "ha, you never got one". |

I really hate how they tried to make out Ross and Rachels marriage was real. Like when they were whinging about not getting engagement presents - they weren't engaged!!! There was another gag I think when Phoebe was proposing to Mike that he proposed a lot of times, he only proposed Twice! And he didn't even buy Emilys ring he used his earring and then his grandmothers ring!
And Phoebe asking him did he like being married coz hur hur hur Ross has been married 100 times - he only had a marriage with Carol. |

I just watched these two episodes on Netflix and I didn't see Phoebe say this, just Rachel. The end of the ring episode takes place in Joey's place and Ross and Joey are annoyed with Ross because he told Phoebe first.
Watched the one with Monica's Boots on Comedy Central. The Sting storyline is alright but everything else, especially Joey's sister being pregnant is woeful. Joey refusing to support his sister not being married when his friends Ross and Rachel were raising a kid without being married |

I suppose he was just being a worried big brother same way Rachels dad went mental at Ross.
