Ross and Carols marraige ending wasn't anything to do with Rachel, no BUT I do wonder what would've happened with Ross and Carol had she not been gay and they were still married when Rachel came bursting in

I never said it did. What I meant was he had not long split up with Carol but confessed of his crush on Rachel since school and spoke of this crush as though he never stopped thinking of her from that day forwards as if forgetting that he has been married since and obviously loved Carol.

It was as if Rachel came along and it was like Carol who? As Squealer_Mahoney said, if Ross was still married to Carol when Rachel reappears in his life would he have still pursued Rachel?

A minor gripe as it's not necessarily something that's wrong, just inconsistent. When Monica & Chandler are sneaking round still and having a bath together, the first time Joey comes in and asks if Chandler wants any chicken, Monica seemingly can't hear anything under water even though Chandler says quite loudly "no chicken, no thanks, ok bye bye then". When Chandler tells her about the chicken she seems surprised so clearly didn't hear. Then Joey comes back and Chandler orders, she hears Chandler say "Coke" as she kicks him to change it to Diet Coke.

I think Ross wanted the perfect relationship/marriage, As soon as he and Carol broke up he lost what he thought was that relationship

So Rachel coming back into his life with a good marriage i doubt he would bother with her as he would be in a happy marriage. Once it broke up he has Rachel reappear in his life and he thinks 'What if' and from there we go

There is no show if that happened though

As we find out in the one that could have been, yes Ross and Rachel would have ended up together as Carol and Barry still cheated on them

Yea but if Carol wasn't gay would she have cheated with a guy?

Kicks him? I always got the impression she got his attention by tugging on his wiener.

I just watched TOW Eddie Moves In and the way Chandler acts is pathetic. He expects Joey (28 years old old) to continue living as a room-mate with him and starts acting cold towards him for moving out into his own place? I love Chandler and he's my favourite character but he treated Joey horribly in these few episodes and his smug behaviour with Eddie (when Joey visits) is really off putting.

In the same episode, Monica and Richard meet in the bathroom of Monica's parents house and Richard leaves the bathroom first and bumps into Judy. He then tries to warn Monica of Judys presence by saying "GOING TO THE BATHROOM, JUDY??". Why didn't he just leave, bump into Judy and say 'oh, sorry, Monica is in there, I just interrupted her, oops" or something instead?

And Chandler's delivery of 'you use my toothbrush??' has always annoyed me. It's so clunky and un-funny.

I always thought Monica kicked Chandler but it could be either

That would still sound a bit weird if Richard said that

It does appear that Eddie only moved in so Chandler could get back at Joey

One thing that annoys me about Friends (although it is my favourite TV show) is the laziness when giving other characters names. One example being in one scene when Phoebe is telling Ross how Carol screwed him up, and Rachel mentions something like "when we were together you were so jealous of Mark even though nothing was happening". The very next scene Chandler asks if he should change his name to Mark or John.

But the worst one is Bob:
- Monica & Chandler get a wedding present from Bob & Faye Bing
- Phoebe's rat is called Bob
- Rachel tries to set up her sister, Jill, with Bob from Human Resources
- When the lady gets the wrong phone number and keeps phoning Chandler & Joey's apartment, they answer with "Bob here".
- Not quite the same but when Rachel is with her father and Ross they mention somebody called Bobby Bobby
- Chandler's co-worker who keeps calling him Toby is called Bob
- When Monica & Joey double date an already together couple, the guy is called Bob

I'm sure there's a lot more Bobs that I've noticed as well.

Today I was watching the one where Rachel and Ross get the hot nanny for Emma, and there's a scene where Joey is trying to chat her up. At one point they're talking about acting and she asks "so where did you study?", and Joey condescendingly replies with "Molly, people don't study acting". The joke presumably being that Joey is too stupid or too bad an actor to know that you can take acting classes. However in an old episode Joey actually teaches an acting class himself! And there's also another ep where he and Monica take a cooking class and on the way out they drop into an acting class to see if Joey would know the answers.

In the Ride Along episode Joey buys a Meatball sub, but isn't allowed to eat it in the police car. Surely Gary wouldn't have stopped the car to allow Joey to get a sub which he wasn't allowed to eat in the car but eats it anyway?!

Monica and Rachel's behaviour in that episode annoys me, sneaking into Ross's apartment and stealing cash from Ross. It is also implied that Monica steals cash from Ross regularly as well

No he didn't. Joey clearly states that he brought it from a place that does great Meatball subs and they had already arrested someone at that point

I just assumed he had been to the sandwich shop before going on the ride along Maybe I was wrong.

I found that episode really funny - Monica acted so out of character it just made laugh!

Monica to Rachel *If you're going to be rational, I can't argue with you*

We don't know enough with regards to that scene, Did Joey say he was going to get a sandwich? or did he just leave the car and go? Do people honestly assume that they can just eat in someones car without asking?

Joey probably assumed that it was ok. But we didn't see what happened when Joey went to buy the sandwich

Joey has a thing for sandwiches in cars he had a gross sandwich in Phoebe's cab when she was trying to find her father. He also carries a fork with him at all times.
What an eccentric fellow

Not a gripe but just wanted to share an underrated moment. Phoebe on the phone to Emilys families maid when trying to alert them that someone was coming to stop the wedding. "What are you saying?"

Oh I did find one.

When Joey and Rachel are reading the books. Now I've never read Little Women but apparently Beth doesn't die in the book, she dies in the second volume of the book which has a different title. True?

But with The Shining when Joey says "all blank and no blank makes blank a blank blank" meaning the well known "all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy". But that was never in the book. They made that only for the movie.

Not a massive gripe but a bit of an error. In the one where Joey plays Al Pacino's butt, they show a scene where he's being filmed in the shower and in his shadow on the wall you can clearly see that he's wearing a pair of baggy shorts. Now I know that it's unlikely that the actor would be entirely naked to film the scene, but come on! At least wear something a little form-fitting!

I think that has something to do with him loving/confusiing with the film.
There's Chandler's line about Rachel ruining the only book (LW) Joey ever loved that didn't star Jack Nicholson.
