But you are right in that it adds nothing to the episode and why would Ross post their invitations anyway he could just hand them to em.”

Yeah i assume Chandler did get one eventually but I just find the reaction after it a bit weird. Instead of suggesting maybe asking Ross why he didn't have one, Joey immediately offers Chandler his guest spot, as if to assume Chandler would never actually receive an invite.

I do think it's a throwaway joke. It's only a few seconds of the episode and nothing ever happens from it but always thought it was a weird thing to throw in.

And you make a good point Squealer. Why would Ross post the invites? We see him post them outside Central Perk. Surely it would take him five minutes to go up to the apartments and hand them to the guys.

Ahhh that makes more sense.

Although Chandler had nothing to hide so he shouldn't have had that line lol

I thought this was just to make it a bit more formal and traiditional

Yeah, I posted all my wedding invites. Don't think I've ever been handed one.

Speaking of Ross and Emilys wedding, has anyone ever noticed that during the ceremony you can see small flames in Emilys hair?

Not a gripe as such, just an observation of awkward camera angles and reflection, though I've never known hair to reflect like that lol

My Wife and I posted a lot of our invites to our wedding as well even to people I knew I'd be seeing on a frequent basis, the few I did hand out were to some work colleagues who I didn't know the address for.

A small gripe for me is in an early episode, I think it is Episode 8 of the first season, TOW Nana dies twice.

The side story in this one is where a work colleague of Chandler Bing thinks he is a homosexual and tries to fix up up on a date with a known gay in his workplace.

Chandler is a little shocked by this and this is made worse when his Friends also indicate they thought he could be gay when they first met him.

They mention a 'quality' that Chandler supposedly has. When Chandler asks if Ross has this 'quality', Ross and the Friends react as if this is the most ridiculous thing they have ever heard.

However, Ross is hardly Mr Macho. He dressed up as a girl called Bea as a child. He used to play with toy dinosaurs and also wore tank tops. While he isn't exactly Louie Spence, I don't think it is that inconceivable that Ross could be mistaken as gay.

I guess within the group Chandler is more so than Ross in the other friends opinions, They wouldn't rank each other it is just that Chandler has the alleged quality more so than Ross so he stands out

Not to mention Ross's tanning and leather pants!

In The One with all the Jealousy, When Ross comes up to Rachel's office. Mark is flirting with another girl, with Rachel commenting on what he's saying. Making Ross think it's Rachel Mark is talking too.

When Ross comes in, he mistakes the girl to be Rachel. The girl is wearing the same uniform as Rachel

I don't recall ever seeing Rachel wear a work uniform prior to this or after it had taken place. It seems that this was put in just to cause some confusion for Ross, to believe that Mark was hitting on Rachel.

Perhaps not a gripe but maybe a small inconsistency
. We all know Monica is a neat freak so I think that it was a bit out of character that when her and Chandler were messing around in Central Perk and she licked her muffin (whoop lol) she then proceeds to lick the mug of coffee that she thought was his. That's a bit urgh even if your best friends if you are a bit of a clean freak

I don't think it was a uniform, I think they just happened to be in similar outfits. It's happened to me before!

Also, i bet this has been discussed before, I'm positive of it, but i can't remember.

In TOW Joey's Porsche. Phoebe asks Monica and Chandler to babysit some adorable puppies (really meaning Alice and Frank's triplets), Chandler says "yeah, alright", like he didn't want to, but would because Monica wanted to. But he hates dogs. It wasn't a new thing that he didn't like dogs in TOW Chandler doesn't like dogs. He makes it clear (as he has been making it out that he was allergic) that he hasn't liked them for ages.

I know there are lots of inconsistencies in Friends based on it running 10 years, but the two episodes were 1 season apart.

Another one which I have seen on here numerous times which I agree with...Rachel's pen drawing on her face. She had it on (and apparently it wouldn't come off) for the whole Vegas stay (how long were they in Vegas, just 1 day?) She was told that it wouldn't come off and she spend lots of time trying to get it off. After her wedding, she wakes up and it's still on her face. When they go down for breakfast it's gone! What did she use to take it off? Did she lazer it off?

To add to the dog thing, I also think Chandler was around when Phoebe was given a dog by her birth mother prior to making her decision about the surrogacy. Again, while he didn't by any means show he was a dog lover, he didn't seem to show any hatred of the dog.

An article was posted on Facebook about an inconsistency.

The window above the sink in Monicas apartment changes hundreds of times episode to episode.

Then another one is the wooden thing Ross bumps into in TOW the Giant Poling Device. But that was removed for safety issues but it looks a bit stupid because it was in the show for a tiny period of time.

Doesn't Chandler say that he would have been a bit iffy about puppies?

Yes but he still agrees (reluctantly though). If I hated an animal which he clearly does in S7 I'd have avoided anything of the sort.

The thing that always irritated me was the way the parents of `emily and Ross had "banter" regarding the US entry into WW2. IMHO no british person of their age would have failed to respond the the quips made about the US saving us in the war, regardless of historical viewpoint/accuracy. makes me so annoyed i can't remember if i have ever posted this before!

The way Ross has a personality transplant for no reason in the Male Nanny episode is annoying. Why did they suddenly decide that Ross was a manly homophobe?!

The male nanny wasn't gay. Ross was just being a sexist and gender stereotyping.

I know but Ross did ask if he was gay and generally had a problem with the Male Nanny which was very out of character

If George had a kid in Seinfeld then that storyline would fit his character better

Just noticed in the one where Rachel goes back to work, Phoebe and Joey are in Central Perk and Phoebe asks Joey for a sip of his coffee and a bite of his muffin and he duly obliges.

I thought Joey didn't share food.
