Which mobile has the best voice call quality?
Just that- does anyone know which mobile has the best sound quality for voice calls? Back in the day, a 6210 was virtually as good as a landline.
What's good today? |

Which handsets do HD calling? and is there settings to turn it off and on or is it just there and works every time you call someone else with HD voice?

Every Samsung I've had has had poor voice quality. Used to be because of the codec they used.
My G300 has excellent voice. |

It's a shame the more old fashioned networks don't support HD voice. Nobody I call has the handset or network combination, as the majority are on networks or handsets that don't support it.

The few times I've tried it and the conditions were right it didn't work either. Samsung S2 to Samsung S3 or iPhone 5 (or some combination of), everyone on Orange 3G. Still using the old codec.

I've had it work once and it was like night and day. I guess they'll sort it properly at some point.

HD voices works every time for me... iPhone 5 EE to iPhone 5 Orange. As i make a call to a friend with an Orange iPhone 5 regularly, can tell when he is in the countryside ie 2G as soon as he picks upas thats the only time it doesn't work.
No the 4S doesn't. |

I'm on an iPhone 5 with HD Voice and my friend has a Nokia Lumia 800 (we're both on EE.)
The quality actually scared me at first, it was like he was in the same room as me. But is it worth it? Yes! |
