Digital stream twin had recorder DHR8202U
This has been very good for two or three years but is now booting up but refusing to respond. Each time I turn off the mains and on again it defaults to radio or bbc2 or Yesterday. But it won't bring up menu or anything. Is is dead.

Just to finish the story, I emailed Digital Stream who sent me some files to download and plug into the unit to update. After a few attempts which failed they asked for the info on the System stream. They then immediately arranged for a new unit to be delivered to me which arrived today, the courier collecting the old one. I bought the unit in July 2011.
Excellent service from Digital Stream. |
