Playing a song over and over and over
Does anyone else ever do this? Fall in love with one particular tune & find yourself playing it on repeat for ages?
If so, what is it? |

Yes!! I do it all the time.
I think the two most notable ones were Nothing - The Script and Last To Know - The Wanted Right now though I seem to be replaying Lawson - Stolen over and over. It's when the song has some sort of emotional connection to me, it makes me feel better listening to it over and over again |

It happens to me all the time as well, although I was talking to some of my friends about how I do this, and they seemed a bit shocked, they said they could never listen to the same song repeatedly for a long time.
I think the most extreme case for me was a couple of years ago with Right There by Nicole Scherzinger, but just the instrumental to it. I had it on repeat for almost an entire day once. It's so beautiful, and uplifting. It relaxes me and makes me happy, I just couldn't turn it off!! ![]() Often when I hear a song for the first time and I find it so catchy I have to listen to it many times just to fulfill my urges to go back and listen to it. I had that with Dope by Tyga recently, although I'm still going back and listening to that a lot. |

I do it for about two weeks but subconciously I do wonder if I play it too much I'll get sick of it too soon.

I tend to naturally reduce the frequency after a short while to prevent burn out of the song.
My most recent case of this was 'Madman' by Djerv. |
