ADELE to perform live for the 1st time in a year tonight at the Oscar's!
Unfortunately it will be aired live (in UK) only by Sky Movies Oscars channel.
But you can check this site: http://oscar.go.com/ if you want to stay up late. Adele will perform Skyfall for the first and perhaps last time ever. She is also nominated for the Best Original Song award for the same song. I have never watched the Oscar's before, but this time I will, because Adele, Shirley Bassey and Barbra Streisand are performing.

I only like watching the Oscars for the best Actor/Actress and supporting. But I also really wanna see Adele perform and most likely win an Oscar. I bet she's really not expecting to win either, so her speech should be great/hilarious.

No..I really believe even with all her major success, Adele is still that modest! Is that naive of me??

From the Daily Mail ![]() Quote:
Onlookers note that Adele has been ‘indescribably mind-blowing’. Another observer told how at one point the singer performed the Oscar nominated Skyfall title song with no musical accompaniment.
’It was Adele, singing live and knocking it out of the park. Everyone stopped to listen. The carpenters and lighting guys started applauding. It’s impossible to impress those guys but they were bowled over and showed their respect. 'It sounded out of this world unaccompanied and later some of us heard her sing with the full works, the full orchestra and it was one of those rare goose bump moments that you never forget’. Adele has already won the Golden Globe for best original song. She and co-writer Paul Epworth are front-runners to win the best song Oscar. I'm looking forward to this. I became a bit fatigued with Adele for a bit during 21's long chart run but when you think about it, it's not like she was constantly making appearances on TV etc. She's been relatively out of the spotlight for a bit now so that any big appearance seems like an event - especially if she's going to perform.

Yeah, you're that disinterested that you not only opened this thread but also posted in it to say how disinterested you are.

It starts at 1:30 am. Does anyone know roughly when in the show Adele will be performing?

Shame the song is so bad. At least Shirley Bassey will be there to (presumably) sing a quality Bond song.

If newspaper reports are to be believed (big IF I know) then Adele will shortly be looking at adding to her family. I can't see her touring the world with one child let alone 2. She didn't particularly like touring when she was single.

Adele just performed and I must admit I was underwhelmed, definitely not her best performance.
I did think she looked nervous, so I think her nerves got to her a little. |

She was great, no idea what some folk are talking about. What an amazing couple of years it's been for her.

Of course, she'll think that she was just going on a night out.
I think she sounded great, no bum notes..wonderful performance. love her speech too and I love it that after winning so many awards she still humble. |
