Poll on its way, hopefully

From what I saw I'd say Gareth - but I missed Beth and Luke's performance. Matt was good but for me; as a non-skater; I think Gareth skates much more smoothly. Samia was better tonight but some of her transitions are still ungainly.

Gareth - but it was such an uneven playing field, so much easier for Gareth, and so determined by the choregraphy they were given , that its not really meaningful to say who was better.

Although Beth is my favourite I thought Matt and Gareth gave the best performances tonight with Matt maybe just edging it.

How can Beth be leading?

Perhaps because more people think she gave the best performance than did the others?

There is no question she was undermarked. Personally, I didn't rate Gareth's routine that highly. Yes, he didn't drop the ball but he just seems to go through the motions in a lot of his movements with little actual performance of them.

Beth wasn't the best though.

Beth for me as I think she had the toughest job in having a prop she has never used whereas Luke and Gareth have used their props throughout their career.

Matts to me was all show and no real substance and same with Samia's IMO it didn't do anything for me.

She definitely had the hardest prop.

So, you said how could any vote for Beth as being the best and I replied how could anyone vote for Samia or Luke because they definitely were NOT the best.

I don't think yellowlabbie's question was directed at you personally. It was more asking the same question that you did about Beth based on people having voted for her.

Exactly, I queried how Beth could be leading the poll, not why people voted for Luke or Samia.

Beth was topping the poll when I voted, and she wasn't the best tonight.

It's still the same question. Beth was leading the poll at that point because people were voting for her. Similarly Luke and Samia are not joint bottom with 0% because people are voting for them.

I was disapointed with Beth tonight, but thought everyone else upped their game. Matt was my favourite though!
