Yes and people have voted Samia and Luke as the best and they definitely weren't.

And people are more than entitled to vote for Beth if they believe she gave best performance in their opinion just because you don't think it was doesn't make it so and people are more than entitled to vote for hers being the best performance as I have done.

You say you voted for Matt well IMO his was all show and no real substance that is my opinion so I am not going to vote for that as best performance as that is not what I believe. For me Beth gave the best performance as she had a difficult prop something she wasn't familar with and hadn't used daily unlike Gareth and Luke and was trying to do lots of different things with it.

Beth had the most difficult/restricting prop to work with but to me the choreo concentrated too much on incorporating it into tricks instead of letting her skate

Beth is a more than capable performer and deserves to have a place in the final IMO both Matt and Gareth were overmarked tonight and the judges are being very inconsistent in how they are treating all of the celebs with it seeming to be one rule for one and one for others.

Samia For Me

Depends what you mark. Matt's acting is simply terrible and wearing a hat isn't hard. . Gareth did well but he was doing his day job. Samia either sat on her prop, or ignored it. Luke skipped a bit and just hung on to the end of his line. Gareth was about the only one with a routine that t made any sense as an act - and he acted it playing a ball player. None of the routines were very good. Beth got something alien and used it constantly. Gareth got something familiar and used it constantly in a routine with more skating written in.

Now you know you're not supposed to like Samia.

I'll admit I voted for Samia because she is my favourite person.

I voted for Gareth as I thought he and Robyn worked well together with a difficult prop. It's the first time we have had this silly "prop connected to day job" and it makes you wonder if it wasn't done to allow a certain person to have the chair. I wondered if I was watching the same routine as the judges when thy marked Matt so highly as although he used the hats he and Brianne didn't throw them about as much as others have in the past.

That's not true actually. Beth and Dan jumped in and out of the hoop while it was lying on the ice.

Actually, I was quite impressed with them doing that. I don't remember anyone else who has had the hoop doing that so I was a bit irritated by Robin's suggestion that it was predictible.
