What do people think of this act? At first i just thought it was a solo guy but its actually a band. They've been creating quite a buzz, i really like their songs Flaws and Sleepsong, and their new single Pompeii looks like it could chart in the top 5 next week after storming up the iTunes chart

I also watched them do a Live Lounge of Bruno Mars' Locked out of Heaven and Rihanna's Diamonds which sounded good, do you think they'll be the big breakthrough act of 2013???

Only heard Flaws and Pompeii but love them. Really hope they do well. Both those songs have been Greg James 'big thing' of the week before and Pompeii is getting alot of play at Radio One so fingers crossed.

I just downloaded their EP! I think this year will be Bastille's year. Also their two mixtapes are incredible, I can't stop listening to them!

I've had an eye on this band since hearing 'Laura Palmer' in 2011, and it's fantastic to see them getting a big breakthrough. Pompeii is absolutely amazing, this album can't come sooner!

I'm going to see Bastille next week, can't wait and I'm so glad I got the tickets now - the more I hear of them, the more I like them.

I love their mix tapes and Flaws is sounds brilliant as an acoustic performance.

I absolute love Pompeii! It's amazing, have yet to explore their other material though. The lead singer's voice reminds me of somebody else though. I can't quite put my finger on it but I think maybe Nizlopi who sang JCB Song

Pompeii is just a boring dance-pop number. I heard it playing in McDonald's and it was indistinguishable from all the other dross they played. Which is a shame, the band's marketing suggested something better.

Their song that is #2 on iTunes right now, it sounds good but I'm sure I heard it AGES ago. Has a sample been used?

I swear I heard it over a year ago or something.

That probably more symptomatic of how derivative it is. I mean, it's fine for what it is, it just has no particular ambition.
