Where would that have got her? probably landed in the bottom 2 as has generally happened when people have answered Jason back. The public can be funny that way and see that as a cardinal sin and therefore not vote for someone.
I think the only reason Luke got away with it at the time was perhaps people didn't pick up on it at the time I didn't until I watched the clips back on This Morning. I guess Beth doesn't feel the need to flaunt an argumentative side in public and I don't think that is her nature anyway.
Dan always seems to try to get his partners to take on board what the judges say so he will probably advised that it isn't the wisest move to start backchatting the judges especially not if you land up in the skate off as IMO if you have backchatted them in the main show then it doesn't matter how well you do your save me skate they will potentially vote against you. Had Luke been in the skate off the week before would Jason have saved him then? or Ashley? given his comment seemed directed at both of them.
I don't object to people standing up for themselves but IMO the way Luke did it was more like a spoilt petulant child rather than someone trying to stand up for themselves in the face of unfair criticism.
