What charity is Celeb BB3 for?
Brekkie

Does anyone know what charity this series of Celebrity Big Brother is raising money for.

CBB1 was for Comic Relief, while CBB2 raised money for homeless charities.

Will Celebrity Big Brother 3 be raising money for one cause, or will it be for the celebrities individual chosen charities like I'm a Celebrity! (If so, tell us what they are!).

The huge fees reported for the so-called celebs are ridiculous IMO. The first Celebrity Big Brother saw the housemates give up their time for free - not fees!

Also, reports on CBB3 suggest the votes will cost 50p, with just 16p going to charity. This is on a par with I'm a Celeb, but in previous series the calls cost 25p with 15p going to charity.

CONTROVERSIAL COMMENT ALERT!
Let's be honest, if Endemol and C4 announce that the new series will raise money for the DEC Tsunami appeal, I think they would get alot of credit for it.

Endemol probably with an undisclosed "contribution" being made at the end when they've done their sums!
We're not dealing with amateurs here you know.

They will get zero credit if only a fraction of the money raised goes to the DEC Tsunami appeal. Especially, if the celebs are each still paid the reputed equivalent of building twenty thousand new houses in the devasted areas.

It would be a fine gesture if people refrained from voting and gave their money to the appeal instead. Maybe they will.

Apologies for my maths: each celebrity's fees could fund two thousand houses if paid reputed £100k.

Maybe it will be for the Tsumani appeal.
