You Can Renew your Phone T-Mobile
Hi
Just wondering if anyone can help me. On my t mobile it says you can renew your phone on 16th March 2013, can anyone tell me what this means as when i check my upgrade date it says i can upgrade after the 15th August so i am unsure as to what renew my phone means. |

Sometimes phone companies will let you upgrade early and get a new phone, even though your contract hasn't yet finished. They usually do this by adding the new contract with the new phone to the end of your existing deal, so you're tied in to them for another couple of years.
If you're happy with your current provider and really want a new phone, then it's worth considering. Best to ring up T-Mobile on 150 and check what they're offering though. |

I'm being offered the same thing but for March 14th, eventhough my contract doesn't end until September 2014. I may take them up on the offer though if it lets me. The user above got it spot on, it's best to ring T-Mobile and see what they say about it, may just be a system error of some sort.

Yeah im going to ring them after work and see what they say. Don't really want to get a different phone until the samsung galaxy s4 is out though.

I guess the more you spend the more chance you have in getting an early renewal.

I'm with 3 and they let you upgrade early and discount your remaining contract buyout. In December they let me upgrade a £38 a month contract that was due to finish in May for just a £34 buyout if I wanted to upgrade early saving me £156
But how much you spend a month does count. |

On iPhone you want your upgrades around Autumn as that's when the new handsets are typically released. |

Did they give you a reason for being able to upgrade early, I'm only 4 months into mine.
