I do agree with that point actually, George, how much are you planning on making?

Now to Nick. As with Eliza, the interviewers picked up that your business plan lacked structure and a lot of content. Perhaps you shouldn't have rushed it?
”

Yes I do believe it was rushed if I had more time that may of changed.

Within the first two and a half years, at least enough money to be able to advertise on television. A national month-long advertising campaign for a month in this country costs a minimum of £5,000, so that would probably require us to have more than £30,000 - £40,000 to be able to have a long-running campaign and not go broke. But that's guesswork really.

Did you take into consideration your competition in such a crammed industry?

Well, unfortunately it was rushed.

I'd like each of you now to explain why you think you should be in the final over the other candidates (you can use weaknesses of the others to display your strengths).

If you'd had included that in your business plan you would have been a dead cert to go to the final, but because you didn't I amn't sure.

I can admit my mistakes and I have learnt from them eg.Task 1. I'm fresh and new and I can bring something something great and win virtual apprentice. I can work with others and others can work with me. I have had the best track record out of all the candidates and I can work hard and I can win virtual apprentice.

I believe I should be in the final because I am an all rounder. I am very creative and I am good with figures as I like maths. As George has said he's not good with figures so I would be better at that than him. I am very hardworking and reliable and would work with you well. I believe in my product and am very enthusiastic about it. If I make the final, I would be elated. Yes I don't have any business experience but I am very willing and eager to learn and would use all my free time learning. I have thoroughly enjoyed this experience and I hope you will consider me.

I think that I should be in the final because I have worked incredibly hard on the tasks, I've come up with good ideas in all of them (with the possible exception of the TV task, but even on that one I tried my hardest even though it didn't work out) and I'm very fair and honest. I know I don't have so much business experience, but I think on the whole I have proved I'm not just a one-trick pony and I really have enough basic knowledge of business to be able to do well. I was Project Manager on a task that I would have described as really not being my bag, but I delegated the tasks well and I tried hard to keep costs down. I know we lost that task because of high costs, but you made it clear that that wasn't to do with me, and you said that I myself had done a good job. I have weaknesses and my business plan has weaknesses, including a huge one where the figures should be - but I am honest enough to accept that and work with it. And there are weaknesses in all three business plans, so I don't think mine should be rejected for that.

In terms of who should go, both Nick and Eliza are fantastic and it would be a shame to lose either of them - but on the whole, I think Nick has generally proved to be more impressive and has a more innovative business idea, so by default I would fire Eliza. It's very close though.

Eliza, you've been a consistent candidate throughout the series and I thought you were phenomenal in the buying task. However, out of the three candidates, you probably have the least business knowledge.

George - you are a very enthusiastic candidate, however, you have a lot of weaknesses which bring down your many strengths, which doesn't help if I'm looking for an all rounder.

Nick - you have the best track record and have been consistently in the winning team. I was very impressed with you and JJ's TV show, but you've shown a lack of effort recently.

I can assure you that I can put alot more effort in any more tasks you wish for me to take on.

Is there anything further I can say at this point?

*~*~*~*Eliza*~*~*~* - You're fired.

This is because of your poor business knowledge, and because of your disappointing CV and business plan. However, you have been a great candidate and I hope to meet you on these types of games soon. Please make your way to the taxi thread.

George, you can return to the house thread - you are a finalist!

George, you need to show me how good an all rounder you are in the final if you are to have a chance at winning.
