So I asked you to come up with a new, unique concept for a daytime television show. Let's begin with Team Sterling. JJ was your project manager if I'm correct?
Yes Lord Sugar i was pm

How was Naruto to work with - I see he didn't make much contribution, which is strange because he had a strong presence in last week's task?

Right, over to Team Mercury. I asked Jordan to be your PM, how was he?

He was a terrible Project Manager. Right from the start, it became clear that he wasn't going to contribute, so rather than sit around doing nothing, I opted to stand in for Jordan until he joined in - which he never did, so I essentially led the whole task myself. I was really happy with Emma and Eliza though, great support from both of them. Regardless of the fact we didn't have a Project Manager, I think we worked well together as a team.

Very strong words considering you weren't an official PM...

Team Mercury - how did you go about deciding your concept? I believe you debated politicians and finance for a while?

It sounds very boring to me... I guess I should have put it should be entertaining as well as unique in the brief, but I thought you might have caught that...

I wasn't an official PM, but I would have put myself forward if you had not made Jordan PM, and as he did not contribute, I feel that I did everything that he should have done. So while it may not have been in an official capacity, I do feel that I was essentially team leader on this task.

We did. Emma felt strongly that we shouldn't have politicians in our show, but Eliza and I both thought that while the whole programme shouldn't focus on politicians, it is difficult to have a lot of current affairs discussions without them, so we decided to use them in the end. I suggested that in the current economic climate, we should have some focus on finance, which we all agreed with. At least initially, we aim to focus on finance a lot within the third section of our programme.

We wanted our programme to be intelligent and informative. I may be wrong, but I didn't feel that being intelligent/informative and being entertaining were mutually exclusive.
