”

I initially suggested Discuss as a name... the only other name that we had was Chatter, which we were told we weren't allowed to use. I wrote the pitch using Discuss as a working title, and while I was writing it, I realised that it actually completely summed up what our show was about. It wasn't a cheesy name, it did what it said on the tin. Maybe it wasn't such a good name in hindsight, but we had no other suggestions, and I think we all thought it was pretty good after a while. It wasn't just me, after I had written the pitch the team mates said that they thought the name sounded good as well.

They are well known and well respected presenters and I believe they could have worked well together. By the way Lord Stuart, did me posting in the other thread count against us because I genuinely didn't know the rule?

I suggested Ellie and Evan as a Name and Evan and Ellie in the Morning

Karren and I also raised the way you divided the time. 30 minutes of looking through Twitter? Most of the target audience probably don't even had Twitter and won't give a codswallop about it.

I don't see why they are a strange choice. They are both respected, intelligent individuals, they are known for presenting shows about current affairs, and they have a friendly and pleasant manner about them. They're not known for presenting together - but then, no presenting duo are until they do their first show. I don't understand what is wrong with having Ellie and Evan.

No Eliza, it didn't.

Emma's name was entirely reliant on having Ellie and Evan as presenters, and I thought that if we weren't able to get them for whatever reason, the name wouldn't work.

I didn't look through Twitter myself, I don't know who did that. Our market research was not done effectively, I'll concede that point.

They aren't household names. The other team had Davina McCall and Jack Whitehall, which we thought wouldn't work, but also had Ben Shephard and Denise Van Outen which Karren and I agreed would be a fantastic pairing, despite never presenting a show like this together.

I believe the presenters would have worked well together as they are professional and good at what they do.

Right, this is really dragging out a bit. Can each of you please give me the name of who you think should be fired and Karren and I will make a decision.

Okay. I suggested Ellie and Evan, I thought they were commonly respected and would work well together; maybe I was wrong. But the whole team agreed.

I think that without a shadow of a doubt, Jordan should be fired. He was supposed to be our team manager, and he contributed nothing at all to the task.

I believe Jordan deserves to be fired as he hasn't turned up at all and didn't contribute anything.

That probably would have been a better idea.

Emma, since you disagreed with the things that went wrong, i.e. the concept and the presenters, you're on the next task.
Stuart25

George, I was expecting great things from you for this task. You've let me down a little, you still need to prove yourself.
Stuart25

Eliza, you never seemed to make a decision or contribute an idea by yourself for this task, you need to be more bold on the next task. You were a bit like a nodding dog.

Thank you Lord Stuart
P,,S can we have a House thread for both teams?

I'd just like to point out that the reason I disagreed is because many of the people watching will be older, and I didn't think that we should go down the route of having all young presenters.

I don't think I should be fired as despite this task, I am creative. I know I may have got some things wrong on this one, but on the last task, our PM took on board many of our ideas - I suggested the meat pie, for example - and we won that task. I think I was a key player in that. I think under the circumstances, I did a good job standing in for Jordan. Everyone has said I was great, I never had an argument with anyone, we all worked together fantastically and we came up with something that I believed in. I concede that it had some flaws, but I'm not perfect. But I am by no means the weakest member of the team.

Jordan, you were the PM and you didn't turn up. This was very disappointing, because you knew you had to prove yourself to me after failing to turn up last week.
