JP probably tried a kiss but Brendan did the duck-and-swerve and then pushed his face into the pillow.
It's so funny I can actually see this scene. And then covered his face with that pillow saying Steven in his head

I was playing this game on my phone "family feud" and a question asked what actor is known for playing nut cases and my immediate answer was Emmett J Scanlan

Emmett is so SO good at the stuff where Brendan is massively under pressure, and nearly exploding/breaking. He is going to knock this a million miles out of the park.

That's going to be very painful to watch

Where will Ste and Cheryl be at this point? Is this when they're unwittingly leading themselves to danger, in the car?

It's going to be awful isn't it? Incredible to watch, but so painful.

See this is where I don't mind Walker's involvement. The panto stuff has been pretty awful but this is so twisted.

Yes I think so!

Yes, I think Brendan leaves them in the car, and goes to find Seamus. So no idea what they'll be doing ...

eta: maybe they go to find him and hear it all ...

Walker's fine - they just needed to write him some material that didn't involve squatting in a petrol station muttering about his bloody brother to Kevin. 900 times.

But this sounds amazing. Seamus is going to be destroyed as well, if Brendan confronts him with it, out loud, in front of someone else who knows.

Part of me wonders whether Seamus gets hurt and ends up in hospital and it all comes out to Cheryl and Ste that way.

I don't know. He might, but I just can't see it. He could go to kill him and then crumble and then Walker does it anyway.

Wowzer, this sounds really good. It will be hard to watch but Emmett will be amazing during this and it'll be a welcome change to actually see Walker doing something more than hanging around the petrol station/being a panto villan scaring Kevin. I just really hope Ste/Chez hear it.

Hm.

I guess the only thing would be how he kills him at the start of the week and keeps it secret the whole week until the Thursday.

I just can't see Brendan killing Seamus. It just doesn't feel right to me - like maybe he is the bigger man if he confronts him and spares him. But that might just be wishful thinking.

I like the idea that Seamus might get hurt in the scuffle though. And that Cheryl and Ste might somehow hear what Brendan says.

I'm also picturing this big fight between Brendan and Walker and then as Brendan returns home he finds out that Walker has somehow murdered Seamus himself.

Hmm the next episode following this is "Seamus is left crushed."

So unless Brendan drops a piano on him, he won't die in that Monday episode.

It was all a tease. They wanted us to think he's alive but he is actually crushed by a heavy object.

I wonder what he'd be left crushed about? Maybe he's been disowned.

I love the idea of Seamus's legs sticking out from under a piano, like the Wicked Witch of the West.

But I guess that must be because Cheryl knows what he did, and completely rejects him?

eta: wot GTTB sed.

I wasn't convinced Ste and Cheryl would turn up at the flat but if they go to Cheryl's isn't that "unwittingly put[ting] themselves in grave danger" too? And they could find out that way too.

You could be on to something. I think really it needs to happen there for there to be time for the fallout, and even then, it feels as though there's very little time at all.

But that might mean that Cheryl and Ste are left with Seamus when Brendan and Walker take off on their car chase to the railway tracks, surely? Which could be very interesting.
