Gran Turismo 5
Anybody still play this? Would love to setup a few online races if anybody is interested..
Also if anybody still has this but doesn't play it, any chance of donating a few cars to a less fortunate racer? ![]() PSN - > the_daddy2009 Feel free to add me, online every night. |

I've not played it for well over a year, Just stops been fun once you get past a certain point.
I always saw the problem as been that its a fun driving game, Lots of cars, Ok number of tracks & decent handing/physics, However its not that good a racing game because of the ai. With the early 2-3 lap races in the slower cars you don't notice the ai as much, However when you get to the longer races & move upto the faster cars, The ai stops been a challenge & you just end up racing yourself. The online challenges they updated every week or so were fun to start with, however they started getting repetitive so I stopped doing them & eventually stopped playing the game altogether. In terms of online, Can be fun but I ended up in far too many lobby's filled with idiots. Also im not a big online gamer anyway so that side of the game was never something I was going to use that often. The one thing that probably would have kept me playing a bit longer was something that was never implemented & that was online time trial leaderboards for any car/track combo. |

I'm really enjoying it, I've only done a few of the A spec events and a few of the licenses but it's great and it looks sublime.

gt5 is actually the only game in the series i've not won all the races/events on to get to 100% complete. |

Once you finish A-Spec and you beat the challenges (Vettel is the hardest, impossible I'd say without a wheel) you are left with no fun, otherwise packaged on the game as B-Spec. A-Spec becomes a chore too as the AI offers no threat. When something becomes a grind about halfway through it's a problem which is a massive shame because visually the game is stunning and online you can have great fun, single player just sucks at a certain point.
