Eating Horse can be a Health Hazzard... Alot of the medications we give to our Horses, Makes them unfit for Human Consumption anyway...Why do think every Horse owner Has to have a Horse Passport???... It's to stop Diseased and Medicated Horses From entering the Food Chain...No Horse can Be slaughtered without a Passport....In the usa they don't have passports so anything can get in the food chain...In the usa they have some pretty nasty Horses Diseases...One which can can put a human in a coma and have brain damage and there is no Cure for!!!”
I don't eat horse, never will, as like you, I see them like I see a cat or a dog. I might have given the wrong impression.
A cow and a lamb, for example, have feelings like a horse too, they suffer, get scared and some have been known to bond with humans but you eat them a lot here... I know of somebody having a goat for a pet!
I wouldn't eat a lamb, it's a baby and I find it cruel to slaughter one as stupid as it may sound.
I do think racehorses are mistreated and pity them... many die while racing, they are given drugs, it is horrible.
