If they had a Gran Turismo game anywhere near ready, they'd have showed it at the PS4 reveal. Instead they had that other driving game whose name I've already forgotten.
Also it would definitely not be on PS3, as GT5 pushed the machine almost beyond it's limit trying to do 1080p |

They were working on GT6 when 5 was released according to reports because the karting was supposed to be on 6 so I can see this being released this year. I'd hope for a PS4 release too but can't see i if they didn't show it off at the unveiling, unless they're saving it for E3 of course.

Details out today.
Not exactly sat here with my mouth like this: :-O Sounds to me like it's just an expansion.. a few more tracks, a different menu system and some new cars. I don't think this game will be worth upgrading until it's on the new console and has a completely new engine or at least a heavily modified one to make use of the extra specs. |

It is only going to be like an expansion pack. Really why bother?
I may skip this and wait till GT7 on PS4. Don't care how long I have to wait. It's not like GT6 will get a years worth of playing time from me (like GT5) if the PS4 is out. |

Hopefully it will be a lot better than GT5 was, Especially with regards to the Ai, longevity & the racing.
I started out having a lot of fun with GT5 but after you go to a certain level it just became boring & I haven't touched it for well over a year now. Biggest issue was the Ai, In the early races they were OK but when you got into the longer distance races, Especially the endurance stuff they were offering zero competition & driving around racing yourself gets boring after a while. The online events which were updates regularly kept me playing but only for a while. Driving wise it was & still is a very fun game, But as a racing game it wasn't that good after a point & it was the racing I was most interested in. With GT1-3 the game stayed fun right upto the end & I've got 100% completion on all of them. GT4 it did start to get less fun towards the end & I never did get to 100% but I did get close. Will I buy GT6, Yes but unlike GT4/5 it probably won't be on launch day. |

This wont be a purchase for me as I am more an arcade racing fan but I will borrow it from my friend who I know will buy it on launch. Hopefully I can get as much enjoyment out of this as I did from GT5. |

PS4 version already in development by the sounds of it. I see this as being one last chance to get money from PS3 users and a rather poor offering. I hope they price it accordingly. |
