OK, now we have got the Playstation 4 up and coming, I have been thinking what features they might have in the next Playstation console - the Playstation 5, (or whatever it ends up being called).

So what features do you reckon we will see in the Playstation 5 console?

Preowned games to be banned.
The console has to be online at all times.
Maybe even the lack of Disc based games.
But backwards compatibility for all PlayStation games.

Actually I'd hope it could. That wasn't possible for the PS4 because it dropped the weird cell architecture in favour of being more PC-like. If the PS5 is also PC-like, then it should be relatively easy to get PS4 games running. I wouldn't expect to see anything in a PS4 dropped from PS5.

The obvious thing left out of PS4, that PS5 could add, is 4K graphics. At some point Sony are going to want to sell 4K TVs.

Add Half-Life 3 to the list of launch titles.
