There are so many, but these are my top five sitcoms:
1. Porridge
2. Whatever Happened to the Likely Lads
3. Fawlty Towers
4. Till Death Do Us Part
5. One Foot in the Grave.

Sorry! I loved that too, can't believe I forgot that one.

I did like the first few series of May to December, but I'm sure not everyone would agree with me! And Colin's Sandwich was also a favourite.

Yes, people are going for 'sitcoms' when it could include other types of comedy shows like Monty Python. I'd add Whose Line Is It Anyway and Absolutely to the list. I loved them in the 80's/90's and seeing them now they still make me laugh

The Day Today, Brass Eye, Nathan Barley and a rather strange one called Jam.

Has anyone mentioned League of Gentlemen?

1) 30 Rock (Tina Fey is a Genius)

2) Frasier (The First 8 Seasons are just sublime, loses it's way towards the end of the run, but at it's worst is still better than most comedies)

3) Curb Your Enthusiasm

4) Father Ted

5) Black Books

Can watch all these shows again and again and often do, as there's little on TV I like these days.
