Cheese for pizza
I just want the stringy cheese sensation.
I have tried everything, buffalo Mozzarella , so called pizza cheese. I know i spelt that cheese wrong. Trying some swiss cheese T his weekend. I would love to hear what you do. |

I am Italian, so I am an expert when it comes to pizza
![]() Mozzarella is the cheese to put on pizza... cheddar alone for example is not good on pizza as it tends to disappear under the toppings I found and I can't see any cheese on my pizza when they use just cheddar. Emmenthal would be good on a pizza, but you have to put mozzarella on it as well and then you can experiment with other cheeses in my opinion, adding them. Make sure you put a lot of cheese on your pizza so you can actually see it once it's baked and taste it. |

Try looking for low moisture Mozzarella (not the pre-shredded stuff), or Provolone if you can find it.

Try pizza mozzarella. It's in a block and harder/less moist than the balls.
