Is the ABBA song 'Tiger' about rape/a rapist?
These are the lyrics, read it carefully
The city is a jungle, you better take care Never walk alone after midnight If you don't believe it you better beware Of me I am behind you, I'll always find you, I am the tiger People who fear me never go near me, I am the tiger The city is a nightmare, a horrible dream Some of us will dream it forever Look around the corner and try not to scream It's me I am behind you, I'll always find you, I am the tiger People who fear me never go near me, I am the tiger Yellow eyes are glowing like the neon lights Yellow eyes, the spotlights of the city nights I am behind you, I'll always find you, I am the tiger People who fear me never go near me, I am the tiger The city is a prison, you never escape You're forever trapped in the alleys Look into the shadows and you'll see the shape Of me I am behind you, I'll always find you, I am the tiger People who fear me never go near me, I am the tiger Yellow eyes are glowing like the neon lights Yellow eyes, the spotlights of the city nights I am behind you, I'll always find you, I am the tiger People who fear me never go near me, I am the tiger And if I meet you, what if I eat you, I am the tiger I am behind you, I'll always find you, I am the tiger Tiger, tiger, tiger! |

You certainly have a strange view of the world.
Tiger, for me, is very clearly about the predators that roam our cities. Okay, a very small amount of them may also be rapists, but really, I don't for a moment think that B&B intended anything so specific.

Nothing about rape at all. I wish people wouldn't look into something that isn't there.

Good song. Didn't have rape in my mind, but I do get a predator-like feel to it.
Can see how it can be interpreted as someone who had the intention of rape. Or harm on a person. One of my favourite ABBA songs. |

I was thinking it was more to do with gangs like the sharks or jets in west side story.
