Low-sugar tomato pasta sauce?
Most of the pasta sauces seem to have a ton of sugar in them, combined with pasta and the tomato, that's a lot of sugar for a meal.
Looking at doing a chicken/pasta/tomato sauce combo. |

Buy passata and add a few herbs and spices.
ASDA (and probably others) do an Extra Special Passata with garlic & onion. Reduce it a bit and it's a perfectly fine pasta/pizza sauce. http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/asda-...ooth_700g.html http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/asda-...unky_700g.html http://groceries.asda.com/asda-estor...questid=110826 http://groceries.asda.com/asda-estor...15&startValue= The ingredients list sugar but I haven't found them overly sweet. In any case you can add vinegar/lemon juice and salt to balance it I find dried oregano also reduces sweetness (The chunky one lists it in the ingedients) |

Make your own sauce, it can be sugar free and it is good fun to experiment with different herbs and ingredients based on a basic jar of passata

I either buy passata or make my own.
