A Definitive pooping answer

OK. Before I put them both in the freezer, why - oh why - do my muttleys wait until I'm on the way home before pooping?

They particularly like the road on which I live, and we could be out for 2 hours and they'll still BOTH wait to have a poop when we're 60 seconds from the house.

What's THAT all about?

count yourself lucky that they do it in such short reach of a bin!
i had to walk over a mile with the foulest smelling pile i've ever encountered from a dog on thursday.

I don't know what the woman who owns the dog i walk feeds her on top of her kibble, but it doesn't agree with her and she farts like a trouper!

Some dogs just prefer to go in one area though, too. up until about 3 years ago my boy wouldn;t poop anywhere other than at home, only other times were when he was busting for it, and even then he wouldn;t stop and squat, it would just drop out as we were walking along the street!

They know where they are, they know they're about to run out of "time to poo" and so it suddenly pops into their heads they ought to go before time runs out.

I have had dogs that only go in their own garden, makes going on holiday a challenge LOL, no oddly they adapt when we cannot get home quite quickly.

Just something some dogs do I guess and at least they are doing where it's easy to clear up.

Considering all of those posts, I think I might actually be fairly lucky!
