Nexus 7 problem?

Everytime I plug a USB memory stick into my Nexus I keep getting the error message that the USB memory stick is not reconized so how do i solve this

the nexus 7 does not natively support usb mass storage devices. it has been disabled.

but there is an app

it is a read only solution.

If you haven't already solved it, try StickMount free from Play combined with an OTG cable.

Nexus7 needs to rooted though.

Just to update - this now has write capability for FAT formatted usb mass storage devices.

Just to update - this now has write capability for FAT formatted usb mass storage devices.
It's brilliant, isn't it? First it only had FAT compatibility and was Read Only. Then it got NTFS (still Read Only) and now you can Read/Write to FAT formatted drives. All without root.

Who knows ... NTFS R/W next?

Best money I've ever spent in the Play store.
