We have a Sony Bravia 40ex43b TV,tried to play a Blu Ray disc,got the message"cannot play this disk"no matter which disk or dvd we tried.Now it doesn't even give us the message,you can hear the disk getting loaded but then nothing happens,any ideas?

Assuming you putting the discs in the right way round? (I always get it wrong first try), then the BD player mech has probably failed.
If you bought it from a Sony Dealer you should have a five year warranty on it, and will have the warranty registration document that came from Sony.
