For use on the iPad4, can anyone recommend an alternate to the default e-mail client?

I'd like to retain the ability to check and swap between a number of accounts, but also leave a copy of messages on the server. As far as I understand, which not be far enough as a beginner in all things Apple, the default e-mail client does not leave copies.

The default mail client does leave copies. It's IMAP.

Deleting from server is an option in the email account setup.

I'll have to go back and take a closer look, as I did not see this when I set up the accounts currently on the iPad. Thanks.

Go into the account setup and there is a button at the bottom called advanced settings. It should be under there.
