I won't leave him alone as you put it as I'm entitled to my opinion and feel if he can't cope then he should go as its unfair on the others who do have to perform the flying
And after his little 'over dramatic performance' after he skated then its time for him to go he didn't even fly yet he's still milking it IMO

Well maybe you should take that up with the medics then, as they are the ones who have decided that he shouldn't fly? People have been given a pass due to medical reasons before in earlier series, so I'm not sure why this is suddenly such a major issue for you?

Its not his fault, and its not by fault of him not trying or putting enough work in - he shouldn't be penalised for it.

Please no flying next year!”

It's looking highly likely that he's going to finish above at least one competitor who managed to complete the required element this week. I agree, it's not fair on him but it's hardly fair on the others either.

Agree on the second point.

he looks very ill, doesnt look like he should be skating never mind flying

Is it just motion sickness though? He looks rough as anything.

eta: Headaches? Loss of memory? Lasting for a week and getting progressively worse? He needs to go to a&e and I'm saying this as a nurse, not a timewaster.

The medics will have had him fully checked out to make sure its just caused by the motion sickness. Poor guy though. He looked seriously ill earlier.

Yes, it sounds like he had a build up of pressure in his head. Definitely more than just motion sickness

Why on earth did they have him go upside down so often considering the issues he had? Matt had little spinning; Gareth may have still struggled but he wouldn't have been so bad with that routine.

Because is Matt is teachers pet. It's not rocket science though is it? They knew Gareth was suffering from motion sickness and could have adapted the routine to suit him earlier in the week.

Nobody had got a pass this late it's the semis if you can't compete you should be out.

The flying is a ridiculous fad anyway & WAY over rated It is a skating show ,not a circus show. There is minimal skating in the 'flying' routines & I truthfully think anyone who can do basic ice-skating & is graceful could pull off a routine like that with a week's practice.
Do people want him to do it & poss drop his partner ? Or be so disoriented that he slices her head/face with his skates while above her ?
The guy is no slouch & afraid of nothing & has tried to overcome this, but it aint happening & is dangerous for him & his partner.

I suffered from severe motion sickness as a child and still do to a lesser degree. Now the initial motion sickness can develop into migraines. Never lost my memory though.

Might be something similar with Gareth but he certainly needs checking out. Hope he's OK.

You a medical expert? Blatantly obvious that he was really ill & medics had no other choice.

I was wondering if it's Gareth's inner ear that's been affected. I say this because I had to look after my husband when he had vertigo, he couldn't even sit up without vomiting, he was okay when he was lying down. He was ill for over two weeks, I never want to see him as ill as that ever again.

I'm sorry, he's seriously Ill and requiring paramedics and all you can think of instead of him being alright is trying to get your Beth a week further?

At this time we should be praying that Gareth is ok, not worrying about our favourites.

If that's all you can think of then I don't even want to speak to you. Get your priorities right.

As Beth fan I agree with everything you say, Its shouldnt be about who gets what and who gets to the final , we should be all hoping that Gareth is ok and there is nothing really wrong with him after all losing you memory is not a good sign.

He could very well go and if he does he does, but don't try and and make out that he wasn't ill when anyone watching that could see how awful he looked. Your posts about him this evening have been incredibly spiteful and mean spirited.

Exactly why didn't they just have him flying with no spinning (he seemed to be the only one with that fast upright spin) or turning over and over.

To be fair, if he had broken a leg or something a la Cheggers he would have been withdrawn as he wouldn't be able to complete a routine. This is where the flying is stupid.

As another FM said on the episode thread, to make it fair on everyone I think the scores/votes should be carried through to the final next week without an elimination this time around.
