It's pretty obvious that Matt is struggling to pull in the public vote, I can't think of any other reason for such blatant favouritism. I feel like I'm watching something totally different to the judges this evening, everyone else being unfairly trashed to try and save Golden Boy. Jason needs to remember that Beth and Luke are not actors which is why they struggle with the performance aspect of their routines, though to be perfectly after watching Matt in Eastenders is debatable whether he could be called one either

I agree entirely, Matt is obviously bottom of the public vote. I just give up, when you get Olympic ice skating stars basically telling lies, then there is no hope.

It's really annoying me

Matt couldn't hold a candle to some of the men who've done the show in the past. The praise they are heaping on him is ridiculous. Is it any wonder that people are turning off? This show deserves to be bloody axed.

I think I will calm down before commenting properly at the moment it's so probably not wise to post what I really think.

They said he was the best male skater to do the flying. What about Ray, they are not being fair to Ray by saying this. I am really fed up now.

The thing is he is the best all rounder there though. I'm not sure why people dislike him so much that they can't see that.

I really like Gareth, he's my fav celeb left, but he isn't as good as Matt.

I like Beth too, but her lack of performance lets her down, which is what I mean about Matt being the whole package. That last skate/dance was really good.

Absolutely agree 100%. How Karen did not mark Beth 10 I will never know. She also disagreed with her getting a lesser score from Jason, that would only work if she gave her a 10. Her skate was fantastic, how they could give Matt 10's for flying and Beth less for an actual skate, well I am flumoxed. Her actual skate was better than Matt's too.

Disgraceful judging tonight, Karen Barber should be ashamed she blatantly marked Beth down to not take the shine off her golden boy

Matt is a strong skater and a good performer but for some reason I don't enjoy watching him like I did say Ray Quinn or even Chris Fountain. He lacks grace maybe and his posture isn't that good imo.

I think the judges do overrate him but clearly they want him in the final and probably he's not doing that well in the public vote.
