Karen said on this morning she wants Matt to win and she will never mark anyone above him! Over the past 5 weeks I have noticed how biased she is! And she always marks the same as Robin!

She always has been biased, she always marks people down so that they do not overtake Matt, as a judge she should be impartial and treat everybody the same, but the biased comes in because of her dual role as 'head coach' which should not be allowed, she should either be a coach or judge and not both!

I think she has actually marked half a point higher than him in some instances, yet tonight she marked Beth half a point lower! I could smack her tonight - not really, before someone comes on telling me off for promoting violence

I really thought some of the hate she got before was unjustified but tonight I've really had enough of her Her overmarking Matt and undermarking Beth is really transparent. I really hope Matt doesn't win just to wipe the smug smile off her face.

She is so unprofessional. She should have learned her lesson when they dropped her from the judgeing panel last year. The faces she pulls when Jason speaks are plain silly.

She didn't say she wanted him to win. She said she THINKS he will win.

Donal was undermarked all the way through.

Tonight showed why it should remain a 3 judge panel.

I had high hopes for Ashley as Kimberley is an excellent judge on the sky dance show she judges on, however Ashley has about 5 stock phrases she uses week in week out.

Karen needs to decide if she wants to be a judge or a head coach. She is unable to do both to a good level as being so involved she is influenced as to whether someone has tried hard or whatever in training. She should be judging solely on what is performed in front of her as the other judges do.

I agree she shouldn't be doing two roles.

How unprofessional of Karen to favour one dancer over another on TV, private thoughts should never be made public by a judge.

Did she say that? If so, it is appalling and she should be removed from the judging panel.

And she didn't say she would never mark anyone above him, you just happen to hold that opinion.

It sounds to me like you have a personal bias against her and you have made up 3 incorrect "facts" to back up your opinion.
You have every right not to like her but at least base your opinion on evidence rather than stuff you have invented!

Actually she quite often marked half a point above Robin but that was when there were more people still in and though I can't remember who, I bet if we checked she'll have marked Matt higher than Robin. But she was clearly biased last night marking Beth half a point lower than Robin, I don't think she ever marked lower than him before. Then to add insult to injury regarding Beth she gave Luke the same score

What a rude response. Why do you have such a problem with other posters commenting on Katerina? I've seen you jump on people before for saying tha they wished she was still on the judging panel. It's a perfectly valid opinion, one which I also share. She is a former Olympic champion, Karen is not. I know who's opinion I'd value more

Karen has always struggled to be impartial. Having her judge AND coach the celebrities has always been a conflict of interests. However since she got together with Chris she has become unbearably smug IMO. They are not going to kick her off the panel now and she nows it.

To be fair, Karen was an excellent skater, not an Olympic champion but excellent all the same.

Maybe because it gets a tad wearing reading constantly bring back Katarina she shouldn't have been axed and so on and so over goodness knows how many threads now. I know answer will be well don't read it then it crops up in that many threads it is difficult to avoid.

I get it some posters miss Katarina I miss Louie but I don't go around constantly posting bring back Louie. At the end of the day Katarina is not indispensible none of the panel actually are and all are replaceble if the need arises and as said before it seems a bit silly to be constantly crying to bring back Katarina when the reasons for her leaving are not known. Maybe they didn't want her to leave but she didn't want to continue so they had no choice but to replace her and in that case if it is her own choice she is hardly likely to want to come back to the show. If it's her choice then they could hardly force her to come back and do the show and if it was ITV decision then I think there will probably been a lot of factors not just so that Karen could be on the panel.

I didn't say I necessarily agreed with Karen being on the panel.

Now ordinarly and in previous years I would say it hasn't been an issue and I stand by that as overall Karens marking and general comments had been fair and although she did get weepy etc she generally made the right decision. Although she still I suppose technically was marking with the head of a "coach" rather than just judge she usually wasn't far out of sync with the others.

However this year I will concede there may be concerns she is not able to seperate the roles as easily. I wonde if perhaps she is spending too much time with just a few of the couples and that is leading to her having a bias towards them over some of the others. I found this week that Dan and Beth having gone back up North for training actually did better than they had being based in London. Could be coincedence but just seems they get better coach input there than with Karen who I feel is maybe just too focused on a few of the celebs rather than all of them.

It would be interesting to see just for the sake of curiosity how she would have been on the panel without having "the antagonism of Jason" factor being played.

I would actually like to see Nicky back and believe it or not Simon Reed as his commentary at the actual skating events I think would make for him being an interesting judge and its been nice hearing him on the show the last couple of weeks as well albeit with dodgy scripted stuff.

I liked Nicky - though I would be suprised if he returned
