Doctor Who 2013 New Titles (Alternative Version)
Looks like the BBC have finally listened to what viewers really want in the openings titles. Here is a first look at the 2013 opening titles sequence, which might still be subject to change

I should have realised that this thread would contain nothing informative when I saw the two exclamation marks in the title.

I can't argue with the choice of Doctor, though ...

Tedr-No, it was a light hearted thread with an alternative take on the Doctor Who title sequence. Some people will find it amusing and fun and, as we have seen some fans will take it all too seriously.

Maybe I'm more easily amused by the rather excellent thought of Julian Clary as the master than others. edit: just checked your first post last year and it would appear I found that amusing too. it must be because I have an exquisitely intellectual and sophisticated sense of humour. Probably. |

I posted this in another thread, but it just makes me laugh every time!

Another way of phrasing it would be that having a sense of humour doesn't mean finding everything hilarious. |

Bah! When I saw the thread title I thought more episode titles had been revealed, but it's just somebody with a mocked up title sequence.

god yeah! its so annoying when you think.you're clicking to spend trivial moments reading episode titles but actually spend a few seconds watching a silly spoof. These people need stringing up.

FYI there are rules pertaining to misleading thread titles.

Well I am glad some people found it amusing and a fun take on the title sequence. When you click into the thread it does say in the title that it is an alternative take on the titles.
In all seriousness though, whether you found the clip funny or not, Julian would actually make a convincing Master and James would actually make a great Doctor, so there was actually some substance in this. In the meantime, I will get round to 'stringing myself' up later, to keep that poster happy. |

Ahh sarcasm is often lost on the internet, I shall save the stringing for a later date)
I am more surprised nobody noticed the ghastly 'lounge music meet Antiques Road Show' esque Dr Who theme running through it! |

Maybe they didn't notice it because they coincidentally had a Bontempi on demo mode at the same time? |
