I was thinking earlier, what a money spinner it'd be if there were a patch, like nicotine patches, only it stops people from craving sugary foods (sweets and chocolate etc.), so they don't have that temptation.
I feel guilty because I have quite alot of the stuff, some I got for my birthday or at Christmas and others are favourite brands/products of mine that I've bought, seeing it as me treating myself at the weekend when I go to the shops, given I don't much enjoy my job, I've felt its a nice treat to get myself one or two bits I enjoy (I guess that equates it to comfort eating then?).
I have a dentists appointment on Wednesday morning for a regular check up but im feeling guilty about it - it can't be good to be eating so much. I also have slight suspicions that all the sugar may be making my moods/mood swings worse. Sometimes in the evening when I'm home I eat a bit much, I felt queasy after one too many jelly babies lol cringe
its not good but I keep buying the stuff! there's Easter around the corner too
For a while I thought that if I kept it all out of direct sight then I might forget about it a bit more and consequently not feel tempted to eat so often but that didn't entirely work unfortunately lol im not overweight or anything like that either, ive always been skinny which surprises me, given I'm often sitting and eating such things
I'd just like to eat a bit more in moderation. I used to snack on more healthy foods and I still do have some dried fruit, bananas etc. but I definitely eat more sugary items in the evening now and when you start, its too tempting to eat too much! there aren't many things I really enjoy though, so in a way it'd feel cruel to totally stop eating any of it, I'd just like to feel like one or two sweets or chocs at a time is enough, rather than have the one or two of them and keep feeling like I must have more until I think OMG how much have I had in the last half hour? and maybe feel nauseous from it
it can't be good for you?. Everything in moderation, that's what they say right?...
