New thread!!!!!

Yay!!!!!!
Wohoo!
Hopefully Katya will tweet some pics in the next few days.
In the meantime, there's always youtube. (Or we could post some reminders here.)
Does anyone have the link/s to when Pasha and Anya danced on DWTS? Tried looking the other day, but couldn't find any? Thanks.

From Hayley
Onwards and upwards Hayley.
So many laughs, good fun and banter on part 1, hopefully more of the same for part 2.
It's all for the extremely talented and gorgeous Mr Kovalev after all.

You're telling me Cheryl. Thanks very much.
Wonder if any of his outfits on tour are almost identical to this one. Better take a fan or two with me just in case.
A great pic to have on the first page.

I'd take an industrial fan with you as a hand held fan won't be enough I don't think, when faced with the lovely Yozhik!
Can't beat Pasha in a suit, especially when he's ruddy shirtless as well

Lol. Need something to fit in my wee handbag though.
That's another item of merchandise they should sell on tour - hand held fans, one of Pasha would do nicely. I'm still hoping for the cushion, maybe I'll need to start thinking of some questions - "possibility of Pasha onesies, cushions, fans for sale," "possibility of a Pasherley rumba or AT and if so, when?"

Thanks.
Another routine I loved (along with the outfits) and Pasha at the start with his trilby strutting his stuff waiting for Kimberley. Then at the judges' desk, Bruno's face is a picture.

Passion, angst and fire all in one dance...and, for me, Kim, in this Final dance was on par with Pasha meaning she was pretty much at his professional level throughout the entire dance! What a dance instructor Pasha is to get that sort of standard out of his amateur dance partner! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TdYyeNM6THg

Thanks for the links to the gorgeous pics cheryl, callie and LadyA...

Spontaneous self combustion indeed... to be fair though it takes very little for me to self combust where Pasha is involved...

She said.... but equally I cant think of anyone else who can be fully clothed and still send me to the gutter in a blink...

This is also true. Pasha could model a sack and we'd still fawn over the photo till the cows come home, 'cos we're all Pasha mad!

Thanks Cheryl. Really enjoyed their tango the first time, but the second time, they were on fire.
What compliments they got from the judges too.

I also enjoyed their Tango the first time I saw it in week 8 but when you compare and contrast with them doing this dance again in the Final, you can clearly see what time they put in to perfecting the dance to iron out any flaws - and Len was right, there was flaws the first time they did it, even if they were mostly in tune with each other.
The first time they did it, you can see the sharpness in the movements were lacking in areas, particularly at the begining when taking up hold after the 'argument' at the judges table - the taking up of hold was too softly done, whereas in the Final, the take up of hold was razor sharp and their heads moved to their correct positions immediately. During the 'argument' section at the judges table the first time round, the sharpness of movement was lacking there too, but was razor sharp in the Final. It's surprising what you notice when you get to see a couple do a dance again...and perfect it to a professional standard - brilliance on a dancefloor and in a partnership!

Yep love this dance. And not forgetting Kim wasn't a natural at the ballroom dances at the beginning. The work they must have both done to get her to this standard was fantastic and with much less training time than a lot of the others

You cannot forget Kim's passion for dancing and the willingness to learn how to dance though. Whilst dancing may not be her chosen profession, the fact that she put dedication into what Pasha was teaching her to do, must have given Pasha such a boost, knowing that his teaching wasn't in vain as is so much the case with other celebrities, who for me, appear on the show to boost their popularity rather wanting to learn the beautiful art-form of dance.
