im here, ...

busy day again, but not too windy. I saw the worst ever adaptatation I have ever seen of Alice in wonderland. presumably by a professional company who shouted their way through the performance and spoke so quickly I missed half the words.........

what to do, it was dreadful

then the excitement of watching the Apprentice, who knew selling candles was going to be so hard.

Morning all

Sorry about Alice augusta. You should see the ballet Alice - fantastic and very very clever.

Portsmouth was great. I urge you all to go and see The Mary Rose museum. We also went to the submarine museum and my o/h went into the submarine. I waited in the museum. We were so lucky, weather began to be awful as we were on the way home. Got into the door just as the heavens opened.

Neck bothering me so it is a trip to the osteopath on Monday - hope I don't have to give up the gym. It is keeping me sane at the moment.

Have a great day all.

Oh dear what a shame
Alice in Wonderland is wonderful if done well

never watched the Apprentice, always mean to give it a try
but i would of thought selling candles would be fairly easy , well depending
on the smell

so gas boiler has gone wrong again...no heating and we are having to use the immersion heater for water..... I am not happy. we have seen so many boilermen recently, and some seem so much better than others!

luckily in a way they are coming this afternoon to fix it, hopefully, so once again I need to stay in!!

Its beautiful weather, but a bit too wet to get out in the garden and do much, ,maybe it will be dry enough tomorrow?

Half term holidays next week......woo hooo.....

And strictly on tonight.

Hello everyone

Sorry to hear about your neck nyannie, hope you can still go to the gym.

And hope your boiler is fixed Augusta.....

Just had a whirlwind 24 hours visiting our daughter who has moved into a lovely flat in Sarf London with her partner. Managed to fit in a curry on Friday night, and a quick visit to the Dulwich Picture Gallery (which I'd never seen before) today. Beautiful place.....I think you know it, nyannie?

Anyway back to normality now.....

Don't forget to put your clocks back everyone

I do too. Hope Scott goes.

Hope you get your boiler fixed asap augusta! When we moved into this house we discovered that the repairman (British Gas believe it or not) - called in by the previous owner - had made a dangerous repair - so dangerous in fact that the house could have blown up!!!

The attractions are great georgy, but the shops - NO. Other than a guidebook I didn't see anything worth buying - and I was looking for things, believe me.

There is an antique shop and another shop but they are so expensive - and really didn't have anything I was interested in. The Georgian tea shop was nice though.

Morning all

Have really enjoyed my extra hour's sleep today. Haven't been able to sleep much because of my back.

Off to the osteopath tomorrow - hope she helps. I really hope this isn't caused by the gym equipment. I really think it was due to Pilates sadly. Have had pins and needles in my hands so been wearing splints and staying off the computer!

Have a good day all and hopefully speak to you all on Tuesday.

Yes, I've been twice to the Dulwich Picture Gallery lindy, it really is a trek though.

it was nice to have an extra hour in bed........

exercise is meant to help keep you fit, not make it worse.

busy day, nice to get in and relax.

I see Thom left strictly, im not sure how I feel about this, there are so many good dancers this year, after Scott and Judy leave, its going to be a good dancer going every week!!

the shops are full of Halloween and Christmas bits and bobs already. I spose we need to be reminded in good time.

the gas boiler appears to be fixed.....but the question is for how long?
augusta92
