no I don't, I like to know what john is doing and what he is up to after Big Brother, but I don't really know him well enough to interact with him on snapchat.
Do you? how is everyone? Its quiet in here? isn't it odd, both of my daughters are dating guys and both of my daughters enjoy cooking meals for their bf, but the guys don't cook for them in return. I thought there was meant to be more equality now, not less!!

My boy cooks for his girlfriend, they sort of take it in turn ![]() not sure why you have to keep logging in, as you say, i stay logged in all the time

Good morning, hope you're all well.
![]() Fog really thick here, I feel as though I'm marooned on a cloud. Can just see the house opposite after that it's just a dull white. Such a beautiful sunny day yesterday after a misty start, had a session in the garden. I've come to the conclusion there's no such thing as a "little light gardening". O/h chopped lumps off the eucalyptus while I hacked away at the shrubs. We're now both dreaming of a nice large sunny terrace with a few pots instead of a back breaking garden that never seems to look any different no matter how long you spend working in it. ![]()

So what else has been happening????
Our bedroom is finished apart from buying a new bed. Just discovering the delights of an ottoman bed - what a clever idea - everything hidden away under the mattress instead of shoved in boxes under the bedstead. ![]() ![]() Looked as if I'd been sunbathing under a sieve by the time I'd finished wielding the roller, sporting freckles in a rather fetching 'celestial cloud' - (that's speak for a very pale greyish blue). ![]() Hubby has painted the landing ceiling and we're weighing up whether we have time to decorate the stairs, landing and lounge by Christmas (there I've said it - the 'C' word) this is the problem with open plan, you have to do it all in one go. Arsenal went top in Premiership which lasted less than twenty four hours, but we're hot on the heels of Man City, separated by goal difference. ![]() We managed to silence the critics by beating Bayern Munich 2-0, fingers crossed for Wednesday night's return match. A pod of dolphins appeared off the coast here and swam along with a boat out on a Sunday afternoon sail. ![]() Our step grandson came home for a weekend visit from uni to find he and his friends had made the local paper after one of the action videos they made had gone viral with over five and a half million views on YouTube. ![]() Talking films, we're looking forward to going to see The Lady In The Van with the wonderful Maggie Smith. Not sure about reclining seats though, while they sound great I'm not sure I could suffer the embarrassment when my o/h is asked to leave because his snoring is disturbing the auditorium. ![]() ![]() Feeling sad as it's the last Doc Martin tonight and last Downtown Abbey next week (apart from the Christmas special), I'm just hoping for a happy ending. Autumnwatch starts tonight, yay.

How exciting to see dolphins and go viral on the internet! Wow!7 My course on British Empire is fascinating. We never studied this in high school. So many questions need answering though. Cannot believe how much material there is in a FREE course! Off to Wales tomorrow. Back Sunday! See you all soon. |

I tend to go to morning or afternoon performances - can get a ticket easier then. ![]() when we got home found out my mum had been taken ill, rushed to the hospital with breathing problems. She has picked up a virus, no cold just a hacking cough, really high temp, rapid pulse, palpitations, couldn't catch her breath, a bit like asthma, she is ok and out....... but please take care Nyannie, would hate you to pick it up, with all your breathing problems...... its very nasty not much else to report here really, just been rushing around after mum, going to read and see what you have all been up to ![]() take care all , keep safe xxx |

Apart from seeing fireworks at a distance ive missed most displays this year. Just had to cope with a scared dog barking every time a loud bang goes off !!
your bedroom decoration sounds lovely lena. WE are still in the middle of kitchen reconstruction. when or when will it end? |

Morning all
Hope all is well. Hope your mother is OK georgy - have they figured out what was wrong with her? Wales was beautiful but rainy and windy - and I lost 3 poppies!!!! Have now bought myself a brooch. Love the Wye Valley and love going away but the poor washing machine has been going since we got back. My course on the British Empire is fascinating.- and the comments terrific. Really learning lots - and it only takes a few hours a week. I have also started reading some of the recommended reading. Went to London to do some Christmas shopping at Selfridges. Not crazy about the windows though. Off to London again tomorrow to see Photograph 51 with Nicole Kidman. Debating whether to take binoculars. Well, best get going. Hope we hear or have a sighting of John. In the meantime, have a lovely day and keep warm and dry! |
