mmm, not sure about that, but I certainly do appreciate your username - it's one of my favourites on DS! I also appreciate the fact that I can post in here without fear of reproach and I thank you guys for that. Certainly wouldn't risk passing comment in either of the other two supporters threads !!

Didn't like John in the House but have mellowed slightly in my opinion and do have a fair degree of respect for him now. I'm glad that he came to realise that a quick 'fame fix' isn't the route to self-fulfilment and happiness. I genuinely wish him well.

Well it has to be admitted that the neighbours don't talk to us much - and we have high garden fences! But it's great to have visitors

Thanks Haggis - my Gran used to call me a giddykipper when I did something hare-brained - not that infrequently
Nothing much has changed...

It's good see how John has contributed to the fun and games over on CT recently - even though he hasn't actually said much

And of course we are taking it as a full and frank confession

Thanks Frilly - just had to have a stiff whiskey and soda after passing out from the shock of John's tweet.

I think we can make you an honorary member of the JJAT - I'm working on the medal now!

What a funny afternoon it's been

Thanks. Think I will stick to the disks. Wish you had been here over the weekend to help me download and put on disk my Paris photos - took me twice as long because my o/h did things he didn't explain!
My fee would have been a trip to Paris though... a bit high
OK fellow threadlings.

Last chance! I'm booking the restaurant for the 1 June (Saturday) on Monday.

Any latecomers welcome - if you can't make it, please PM me asap.

Just wish we could have John at our event!
Wish I could come, hope you all have a wonderful time
I've been trying to find a showerproof mac for the past hour online and it seems everyone got to them first.
M&S was the favourite but not sure I'd look that great in screaming pink. Was favouring a classic navy, but none left in my size.
Try Amazon.

Morning all. Sunny day but evidently it isn't going to last.

Still can't get over how 4 little words from our man in Oz could generate such a debate! Do wish though he would tweet us. I was thinking of a cheer for him from our own JJAT cheerleading squad. Don't know about anyone else, but I don't think my knees would take it these days.

Nice to see you Nat - we do need a silent supervisor.

Muggins - I'd love to take you to Paris, but would have to save up. How about a postcard instead?

Hi georgy -

Good to hear that you are OK and I'd like to echo your thoughts on our visitors - always very welcome.

Pleased to hear the Dr is telling your hubby bed rest - has he given him anything to make him rest - tranquillizers, sedatives, Night Night herbal pills?

Hope you will be able to attend the 1 June.
