Nice to see you around Ucra

Hope the place was clean enough when the visitors came to visit.

John,he's such a wind up
Well I hoovered and plumped up the cushions. Didn't make another pot of coffee as there was one going --- But. . .will the person responsible for the mouldy coffee cup, please not leave a cup in this state again. It was, shall we say, DISGUSTING.

Guess this another duty for you Nathalie, making sure people wash their coffee cups!

Afternoon all

Just off to see mum (if it's Friday it must be Waitrose.....). Had a fun evening yesterday at the Pasha and Katya 'An Evening with the Stars of Strictly (Come Dancing)' . Some great dancing, a lot of humour and a real feel-good factor. Lots of audience (90% female) participation, as you can imagine! I had managed to persuade O/H to come and even he enjoyed it!

Anyway, must dash.....

Have a good day all x

Good afternoon JJat, waves to all the lurkers. I can see you
Lovely to see some old faces, hope you're all well.

Thanks to nyannie for tidying up, just to say coffee cup was NOT mine as I don't drink coffee, although I must confess there are some grotty marks on my mug from making tea straight from the bag. (Note to self....must do better)

So John does read DS, did we ever doubt it lol.
Could have given us a little shout out (just sayin) but I'll forgive you.

Do you have more to say or is that the end of your little twitterfest? Don't leave it so long next time, it's good to know you're still in the land of the living.

To our friends from the CT....Nice to see you, we're a well behaved, friendly and for the most part an orderly bunch in here. Toilet trained as well no flying f***es here.
CT has been hilarious, but disappointed I was too late yesterday as the cleansing team had been in.

Hi Lena

I agree, CT has been great One thing I've always wondered, though.....how can you tell when the cleaners have been in.....if you didn't read things in the first place, I mean?

Hi Lindy, there's usually a large gap in the time between posts, if you try and view whilst the 'cleaners' are in you can't log in and of course there's always talk of it in the posts after it's happened.

Wonder what or who they were talking about?

No tweets today - he's probably still laughing at the effect of the last one - and he doesn't want to wear out those twitter fingers...

But it's good that Nyannie cleaned the place up as we know he is a bit of a neat-freak And now we know he keeps an eye on us, we wouldn't want to put him off. Feel free to lie on the sofa John - or to walk all over it as you used to in BB!

Oh - that furry mug - it was my science experiment...

Great you can make it Georgy Especially as you will miss the Derby!

It's just not possible to do everything, is it? We're packing today to have a short break this week in Plymouth. Not somewhere I would have thought of going, tbh, but hubby has happy childhood memories of holidays there, and we're going with a group so it should be fun So far we're hoping to see Wells Cathedral, Dartmoor, and Plymouth dockyard amongst other things. Personally I'm looking forward to the hotel stay as much as anything! Hope the fluffy pillows live up to their billing.....

Have a lovely time and make sure you go to the Plymouth Gin factory. They used to give free miniatures -

and Lindy, please make sure you don't take any work with you.

Morning all

Almost got blown away putting the bins out. Can't seem to make up its mind outside.

Had a quiet day yesterday sorting through our 'miscellaneous' files - honestly! What a load of junk. My o/h has kept bills for repairing his sink from the house he lived in before we were married! Guess where all this 'stuff' is?

No news from John I see. Guess bblover is right - that's it for the year. Hope not, but we have to face facts. At least the thread is nice and clean.

Hope Lindy enjoys her break.

Back to reality - man who cleans my oven is here!

You underestimate him Nyannie - his twitter fingers have been working again. The clip is quite funny - and the kind of thing that would crack John up.

John James ‏@uk_JohnJames_oz 4h I'm Just Waiting For A Mate ?!? http://bit.ly/YlysVG

You've made me feel guilty - the paperwork in my files probably hasn't been checked over for years - many years!

My God! I've needed the smelling salts again. I just wish John wasn't so cryptic and so brief. Guess Jonno must be late.

Giddy, sorting out paperwork in files and elsewhere is a never-ending project.

That's a funny clip, all about a drunken guy who has crashed, and when the police are interviewing him....he is totally denying everything...cos he is '' just waiting for a mate'' the last couple of lines spoken by the policeman in the U tube..says it all ...not only does alcohol affect your ability to drive, it also affects your ability to tell the truth.... !!!!.....

Maybe he was being truthful - and the mate he was waiting for was John...

Morning all. How are we all?

Like winter outside but we do have weak sunshine. Hail expected later.

Hope Lindy is enjoying her break and not too put off by the weather.

No news from John I see. Oh well, I had best get another bottle of smelling salts just in case.
