I have never seen them in person.

Did anyone watch" the cube" tonight ? Johns friend JJ was there supporting his friend Lewis the olympic medalist for gymnastics who won strictly come dancing last year , he went away with £50,000. JJ was giving advice when asked because he had done it himself in the past , I think I'm right in saying it was before he went in big brother.”

that must have been a pretty impressive friendship group....JJ, lewis, and the guy from JLS...!!!!!

Knee getting better but I am completely fed up with the constant feet problems.

Hope everyone is keeping well and cool.”

wouldn't it be nice to hear something from John James?

Can't speak for anyone else but I am not watching BB. There are other things I want to see and since Channel 5 has taken over BB I haven't gotten into it. Think the last one I watched at all was when Aaron won.

Hi bblover, good to see you

I'm afraid I'm not watching BB this year either. In fact I am watching more things like Broadchurch, The Village and The White Queen,ie drama series......and a few documentaries, as long as they're not too grim

Really enjoying the tennis. Didn't see so much today, but did see the highlights of quarter finals, some great tennis and all the better, I think, for there being no obvious winner

Daughter is back from Glastonbury, and I realise I haven't slept well all the time she's been away We're meant to happily let them fly - I have no problems with that - but I can't help, well not so much worrying, as being concerned for their welfare

Anyway we've spent the evening fantasising about living a hippy life - and it's back to work for us both tomorrow

So I need to get an early night ( for me)

Goodnight JJAT , sleep tight    xx

Morning all.

How are we all? I have been looking at weather forecasts and find it really funny that rain wasn't predicted yesterday and we had some - just before I was going to go out and water my pot plants.

Anyone watch Luther last night? I love the series but fell asleep about half way through so will have to watch it on catch-up!

Knee is better but I hate wearing shoes around the house. Need to call quite a few places to get travel insurance and chase up radiology for my scan.

Have a lovely aday everyone.

Yes indeed!!

I couldn't believe how lacklustre Murray was in the first two sets.....and he didn't exactly dominate any part of the match. Just hope he's on better form on Friday

PS Have you managed to get to Wimbledon this year?

We love them really though, don't we?

How is your jewellery making going, Augusta? I'm really hoping to buy some earrings for Christmas!

Of course we do....

so who is impressed with the BB twist last night? I am, for once the most interesting and obviously game playing characters aren't going to be the first to leave..

I put this on another thread as a response to someone saying that BB was manipulating the viewers, and I do think to some extent they always do...but..this year is even more blatant that usual.

they have taken the 2 most unpopular people from the house, Dexter and Gina, 2 people who seem to have been deliberately stirring and causing trouble from day one....and protected them from an almost certain eviction, by putting them into a next door luxury house.... Its very interesting...!!!..

So who else has read ''The Hunger games'' ?

Which is a brilliant book, but an example for a TV reality show series???? All this Big brother can change the rules at any time business.......demonstrated by the way they gave live feed and took it away again....

i'm not sure how i'm feeling at the moment? Cos I tthink BB have just massively changed the rules , and changed the show. Of course most of this years cast are somehow odd, they have been preselected to play a totally different kind of game show... And this goes right back to the idea of the big brother in ''1984''

that puts it as extremely likely that Gina and Dexter are somehow in on it...., both with an acting background, and fantastical media backstories, that are too fake to be true......Did you see their reactions in the diary room when they were given the questions from the public. Gina and Dexter were watching carefully and absorbing info....Dexter's face when he realised the public had been shown Wolfie bragging about being there until the end....!!!!

what's the betting that as Gina won the shopping task, singlehandledly, one of the first things that will happen after her eviction, will be that the shopping will be withdrawn unexpectedly overnight....

or am I just being way too paranoid and imaginative???

Morning all.

Not much to say - I watched the last 5 min of Murray match and sorry but not watching BB although I am reading the threads.

Sherlock returns tomorrow and I am really looking forward to it.

Having the MRI next week and seeing the consultant the week after so hopefully all will be clearer.

Have a lovely day everyone.

Gosh am I living in the chilliest, greyest part of the country?
Beautiful sunshine at Wimbledon and it's grey down here for the second day in a row.

Sorry to hear about your accident nyannie, hope that knee is on the mend.
Really keeping everything crossed for you with the MRI and consultant appointments.

Murray certainly has you on the edge of your seat, I'll admit I couldn't see him coming back from two sets down.

Nearly all my fav programmes are finished. Only The Americans, Continuum and Castle left for now. I think there's another Marple to come, must check to see if it's on this Sunday.

I finally watched Poirot the other night and realised it was filmed just a little way along the coast from here. Walked The Seven Sisters many a time, know that coastline like the back of my hand. http://www.sevensisters.org.uk/

I've seen little bits of BB this week and read some of the threads. Why do I do this?

So far I was:
at Wolfie (she has some very questionable habits),
at Gina (does she apply that mask every day, saw last night she sleeps in false eyelashes),
at Dan who switches between interrogating (still got his coppers hat on) and weeping
and at Callum, as I don't understand what viewers seems to have against him. Some people are just nice.

Also, I understand the theme is Secret's and Lies, does anyone think they all have a secret or have lied and that's why they were chosen as housemates.

Why am I watching this?

How long is it now till John arrives?

Big brother has always been one of our guilty pleasures...

if we hadn't all been fascinated by It originally we never would have seen John in the first place...or met each other...

and im sure some of them do definitely have some secrets and lies.....to play around with !!!

but it is nice to watch other things as well.....

The question is.....if they get John to appear on BBots when and if he comes over.....will you watch it then???? And they do seem to be trying to use as many previous BB housemates as possible.....They even had Anne Diamond on last night, to my amazement, and Judi the psychologist, who I hadn't seen on for years....but was a regular on BBLB...ages ago

Just finished watching Lisiski win at Wimbledon! A really good match for a change. Saw Haarhuis and his partner win this morning - not so much boom boom but more finesse.

I wonder if John will have anything to do with BB? He hasn't shown any interest thus far to appear on BBOTS. If he does, I wonder if we will get any advance notice?

Hubby out tonight so will be watching the Diamond League athletics and then Lewis.

Have a good evening all. . .

Happy 4th July nyannie, I'm sorry I forgot to do it earlier.

I was watching the ladies semi finals earlier and my son had me in stitches when he described a women's match he saw earlier in the championships.
He said on one side of the net was a young lady who was running lightly from one side of the court to the other, whilst on the otherside it was STOMP, STOMP, BBFFF.

Watching mens veterans doubles at mo, McEnroe/McEnroe v Bates/Jarryd. There's some blasts from the past.

I love John McEnroe, he's been priceless at times whilst commentating.

Hi BB, good to see you. Hope you're well.

Sadly I don't think John will be on BBBots either, but I'd tune in (wearing sunglasses to protect myself from Rylan's teeth) just to see him.
Think he'd surprise some people at the physical change in him.

Thanks for your good wishes Lena.

I know exactly who your son was talking about. The second women's semi-final was worthy of the final. No grunting- a real pleasure.

I too love the veteran's doubles - more finesse and ball placement than brute strength. Guess that's why I like Federer and Henman.

Thanks too for your 4th July greetings. We used to have a barbecue for about 40 people but I can't take the heat so we don't have one anymore.

Well, off to water the plants before the sun comes round to the patio.

What a fabulous day, summer's here hooray!!

Just taking a little break from watching the most sensational men's semi finals I think I've ever seen.

One minute shy of four hours and now we're into the fifth set.
Some of the shots are just

Back later, don't want to miss a minute.
