Just read a headline on google that DS has changed everything to keep up with Buzzfeed and Mashable. I am going to investigate. In any case,I think everyone has my email address so we can keep in touch. Please PM me if you don't.

I am giving DS until Thursday morning to sort this awful unreadable, difficult to used, uncomfortable new format or I am deserting it.

Amusing reading the feedback and DS format threads.

Just to say that I actually managed to read 3 pages of the feedback thread and 1 person liked it - need to sign off now as my eyes are stinging.

I'm giving DS til thursday and will now check out the competitors.

Hopefully things will be back to normal tomorrow.

What amazes me is that there has been no apology, no communication from the Mods. Very disappointing, shame shame on you DS. Shame shame!!!!

She could do it licking herself but would take to long considering her long coat and to manny knots to comb them thrue. I'm having one coat but need another ones that will cover her legs too. Then my whole neighboorhood can laugh her out dont care she will be dry and warm and no defrosting after her walks

What do you all think about staying on this forum? I have to admit it's working okay now but part of me thinks I needed an excuse to use it less!! Also I still hate the design, it reminds me of filling in official forms. Hard to imagine using it for cheer leading or having a Christmas party!

Anyway I'll go with the majority. I'll stay if you all are, but if not, I'm happy to use email.......xx

There was a massive apology on the front page about the chaos on the forums, so I do think someone on DS is aware...and they did say they were attempting to sort out some fixes so to please be patient.


I just think they have scored a massive own goal, to upset the majority of their users in one fell sweep. Someone wasn't thinking straight. !!!!

I've been having a mare of a day really.
My email locked me out and I spent an age trying to get in, kept saying it didn't recognise me. (I would use an angry smilie here but seeing as they all look the same I shan't bother)
In the end I turned off the laptop and turned it back on and opened in yet another tab and it let me sign in.

Then I contacted Amazon as my pre-ordered Il Divo deluxe cd edition has still not arrived despite it apparently being sent out 1st class on Saturday. Thankyou Royal Mail.

My dvd recorder is now on it's very last legs, it randomnly plays discs when it feels like it so I've been searching for a new one.

At least the site looks a bit better now.
I don't seem to be having a problem reading across the page, everything is contained inside the box BUT I hate these insipid smilies.

Please, please, please, could we have our lovely colourful smilies back?

Still not getting the whole page on my computer screen and don't like all the white - which I find troubling - and NO coloured smilies.
I do not want to have to reset everything to get into the site.

Made some food for our annual Xmas bash yesterday - gave it to my neighbour to freeze,bless her - and then I collapsed in a heap!

Feeling better but am fed up catching viruses, infections. Read
an article about immunity supplements and the only ones worth having

Im giving up on a colour scheme and trying to tasteful, I think it will be just throw it all up and cover every available space with tinsel. That ends up feeling pretty festive, if a bit hard on the eyes!!!

Yes definitely RIP Nelson Mandela.

He was an incredible man, and his fight against apartheid was so much a part of my teenage and college years. I saw an incredible speech/obituary by Obama this morning that was so apt.

We were fine . no real dangerous effects of the storm. Except the whole rail network in the Eastern Region was down during rush hour, as the wind had blown trees onto the line...

Lots of farmland seems to be flooded and underwater and some of the sea defences in Suffolk and Norfolk have been breached. Apparently the huge container ships at Felixstowe nearly reached the top of the harbour, which must have been an incredible site...they are normally much much lower that the top of the harbour.... And the tidal surge going down the Orwell did flood the waterfront in Ipswich.

So in a way it was a bit of a near miss...loads of houses were evacuated and people moved things up high to save them from the seawater. This is the first time in my lifetime I have ever lived that close to anywhere with a red severe flood warning....!!!!:s

And what is interesting about this is that the sea defences on the fronts were fine, but...the tidal surge has gone up the surrounding rivers and flooded places inland that don't have the same kind of protection.!!!!

Having a very lazy day today - reading papers and books. Just read Life Class by Pat Barker. Really good.
