Oh my of course it was! Claudia and I were just discussing before we came on air that we think this final had the highest standard of dancing we’ve ever seen before!
They were all great weren’t they? I would have found it hard to choose!
Ditto! It wouldn’t have been easy, that’s for sure!
So Tess, who impressed you last night?
Well they all did, but definitely Faye in particular. Her Fusion was the best I’d ever seen, I was so happy it got a perfect score!
That was absolutely extraordinary! What about you Claudia?
Yea I’m the same, they were all fantastic! I quite loved the uniqueness of Laura’s Fusion and I’m glad Pasha took a risk with it, it’s definitely one of my favourite dances from them.
Well thanks you two for popping in, we’ll see you next series!

Well we had a fantastic night in the wrap party, had a few naughty drinks… But anyway, yea, I was so pleased to get the chance to lie in this morning!
It is very tiring isn’t it!? So let’s talk a bit about the final. Your Fusion kind of split the judges a bit, didn’t it?
Yea, it was a shame that Darcey wasn’t too keen on it, but I’m glad Len liked it because we really wanted to impress him, as it wasn’t really a traditional dance.
And then in the results show, your American Smooth gave you a perfect 40! How did that feel?
Oh my god it felt absolutely AMAZING! I was so, so, so happy that we got that, and with our favourite dance as well!
It really was an amazing dance! Thank you so much Laura and Pasha, here are your best bits!

You look delighted! I know you didn’t get much time last night to say your thank yous, so, take it away!
Aw thanks! Em, well yea I’d love to thank everyone who voted for us - you have no idea how much this means! I’d also like to thank my mum for being so supportive during all the really tough training, my dad for keeping me going, all the rest of my family for being absolutely fantastic, Michael, obviously, for putting up with the long training hours, and for working around those, little Benjamin for keeping a smile on my face when it got really emotional, and of course, Artem. I am not joking when I say I couldn’t have wished for a better partner. You kept me going all the way to the final and you won us this glitterball. Thank you so much for choreographing brilliant routines, finding the perfect music, and for making a friend for life in me.

Well it’s pretty hard not to be isn’t it? Obviously we were just delighted, and I am actually quite proud to say that I had some input in the choreography of the Fusion, didn’t I Artem?
Artem: I have no idea what you are talking about…
Faye: Shut it you!
Aw! Faye, did you ever expect to win?
Oh my gosh, never! I think it’s quite cocky to expect to win, and I don’t think anyone did! I was just so thankful to have been in the final!
I do agree! You were also never in the bottom two, that must have given you a sign?
No! Not at all! We were often quite high in the leaderboard which sometimes, more or less, guarantees you as safe, so we were never complacent about making the final!
That’s quite fair! Thank you so much Faye, you have been nothing more than a pleasure to watch, here are your best bits!
