I don't know think this problem is specific to iPhone 4s, but anyways...

My iPhone has a life of its own. When I am typing a messaging it starts selecting letters I'm not selecting or even near to pressing. Also does this when opening up apps (e.g I'll want to open an app in the top row, but it will open one of my favourites in the bottom row.) Also does this when I'm inputting my lock code....which means my phone keeps on locking.

Not the only problem...sometimes my iPhone starts typing, selecting apps, etc...when I'm not even touching it. I will have my phone beside me and it will randomly start selecting numbers on my lock code by itself when my hands are nowhere near it!!!

It's getting really annoying now this problem.

Does anyone know what might be wrong and/or suggest what I can do to fix the problem?

Is your screen clean?

Could be a faulty digitiser? You can confirm this with a drawing/painting app. There are also a few general purpose test apps around like https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/syst...530516172?mt=8

Sounds like a faulty screen.

I take it your software is up to date? Has it done this even after you've restored? If you haven't tried then its worth a go
