I have got from Vodafone, something called test drive, they will give me unlimited data for 3 months to see how much I use and then they will recommend a upgrade if need be.

There is one good thing about this, I can use tune in and then I can tell via My Vodafone how much data I am using.

Dont talk mobile give you a fair use of 1GB?

And dont vodafone only do packages up to 2GB? Gonna be an awkward conversation. With those people who use more than 2GB and dont want to pay the £15 add on just to have limited data.

Test drive has been around for years but its pointless tbh as vodafone do2GB max and then charge you to upgrade to that plan in the end.

I have no idea what Vodafone goes up to, but since I have only got 250MB on my package, I am not going to sniff at 3 months unlimited.

i doubt very much if I will use much to be honest, but as I said, it gives me a chance to see how much Tune in uses for a month and other stuff.

I went for 250 as I did not think I would need any more until I realised there was no FM radio on my phone. I will cope without it, but it just be interesting to see how tune in copes as a stand in.

3G can be a bit iffy in some places around here, certainly up where one of my mates live for some reason.

£3 for 500MB
£6 for 1GB
£10 for 2GB

Completely u/l when I signed up for the silly £16/mth HTC One S deal last year (or was it the year before? ). Imo they rely on its cr*pness to do their limiting for them

Unlimited Internet (included in tariff allowance)
Some Pay Monthly contracts include "Unlimited" data access as part of the tariff allowanceThere is no limit on mobile internet usage on contracts which include "Unlimited" data access. However if we feel that your data usage is so excessive that other customers are detrimentally affected and/or we are concerned about fraud, we may introduce a fair use policy. If we publish a policy we will let you know. Any such policy may change from time to time, including where we introduce new Services which may require certain rules to ensure such new Services can be enjoyed by our customers. If, once we have implemented such a policy, your use of the Service is excessive, is causing problems for other users and you continue to use the Service excessively we may suspend all or some of the Services.
