I'd say Beth. Not that I think that she's been the best over all, but she has that whole Olympics thing going for her.
Am going for Beth - she's not been in a skate off whereas Matt has. History points to her as a winner due to this. Kyran, Ray, Hayley & Matthew all won the show having got to the final without being in the skate of & up against 2 other finalists who had been in skate offs during the series.

But how can we be so sure that Beth wasn't in the B2 with Gareth on Sunday? IIRC Jorgie and Chloe were never in a SO until the SF.
If we had been told that Beth was not in the SO, I agree she'll probably win.
But if she was in the SO, then all 3 finalists would have been in the B2 previously and the result is less certain.

I would be very surprised if Luke wasn't bottom with the viewer votes on Sunday. Again history points to the votes going to the strongest skaters come the semis & Luke had already been in the skate off the previous week anyway.

Gary was one of the 2 strongest skaters in his SF yet he ended up in the SO.

I don't think there was a massive difference between them that year. I like Luke & he has improved over the series and for me deserved his place in the semis & now the final under the circumstances. However he was still clearly the weakest compared to the other 3 - a clearly ill Gareth who was not quite himself was better in his first skate.

Beth is more graceful so should do a better Bolero
Matt is the leading male celeb this year, but how long will he be remembered? We still talk about good Chris and Ray were (now five and four years later) - I don't think we'll be talking in the same way about Matt in four or five years time.
Matt will win!, He has everything in his favour!, For Beth to win she has to pull off the best performance ever to even stand a slight chance of winning!.

Depends if the voters, as last year, just follow the judges - or now just think whether they can be trusted. Breakdancing Bolero will be interesting.
Not being memorable didn't stop Sam or Mathew winning though. Sam had the advantage of Riverdance, though, and Jorgie had been stalled by the semi final - wheras Beth's flying may have worked for her momentum.
