Just three weeks? Wow.

To be fair, there were babies involved.

Part of me thinks 'wow she got a fantastic salary for a year' but she did leave a good well paid job to go on the show. Obviously at the time she thought it was a good career move, she didn't seem like a 'media type'.

The show has had its day now, Sir Sugaryness should be forcibly retired, its hard to take him seriously now.

The newish kids version is one hell of a lot better than the adult version... the people are actually smart and gifted (mainly) rather than tv wannabes.

It must have been traumatic for her - 100k salary, and not having to do much work for it. I couldn't think of anything worse.

Sarcasm aside, The Apprentice is merely an entertainment show, which began as a serious business competition (series 1) and gradually became more of a glorified, and slightly more intelligent, version of big brother over the years. I'm not surprised the role didn't meet her expectations, but being on 100k, and surrounded by high profile businessmen, with networking opportunities, is the dream of many - it sounds like her face didn't fit, and her attitude got her the 'real life' chop.

No reason to 'sue' in my opinion.

If people think the tasks set on that show are indicative of the real nature of the business world then they've got the wrong idea.
Exactly. I quite liked the first series as it seemd a bit more realistic but they abandoned any resemblance to real business after that.

As anyone who works in the real world will tell you, the kind of loud, attention-seeking, talentless cretins that succeed on The Apprentice (because they make more entertaining viewing) are the last people you want in positions of real responsibility. She was lucky not to find herself cleaning the bogs, frankly.

Those ex-contestants are not business-savvy enough to be handed a business of their own to run as was offered
The Badger was. I suspect that's why she didn't win, as AS realised that she was too good to be wasted on a non-job.

Didn't she end up doing some crappy presenting job on a show that died on its arse?

This is like some one winning XFactor and then blaming Simon Cowel for you not setting the pop world on fire

I wouldn't be surprised if she has manufactured this situation for some publicity. Probably get into the BB house now.

I spend 8 hours a day surrounded by cockmonkeys who think they deserve to be the next Aporentice. No way am I going to voluntarily watch another bunch on TV when I get home from work.

More like if he promised the winner an alubum release, but the actual album release had a limited run in just the outer Scottish isles.

Or how about the winner promising a super hit, but singing nursery rhymes at high pitch instead.

I never said she was a good presenter. Have a look at her bio on wiki, and note how things were going spiffingly until she became a renta-celeb-presenter on television after The Apprentice.

They all succumb to the fame and the chance to push their smug fat arses in our faces

You mean a TV show did not lead to long term career prospects?? How shocking

She really should have known this going in, reality TV shows have been around for a while and its not unknown that the 'prize' at the end is not all it seems. We know the X factor does not make singing sensations or that Americas Next Top Wotsit doesn't churn out the next Kate Moss. There have been many series of the apprentice, unless she has been living under a rock she would have known the stories of the winners of the show, its well documented, a quick google would have told her what she was getting herself into.

Besides, she got paid 100,000 for doing very little work, I have very little sympathy for her
