Not very happy with Three
I decided to order the IPad Mini over the phone from the Three network I already have a mobile with them I wanted one with a 15GB allowance at £29 a month with a £59.99 upfront cost the adviser confirmed the price multiple times before the call ended,
Ive logged online to find that £99 has been taken out of my bank account (£40 more then I agreed to) I was told I was put on a cheaper price plan that had more of an upfront cost. Not happy at all because I didn't really have £99 spare and now I've got to go through a process to cancel the order that will take up to 4 weeks to complete I was hung up on 3 times before I was told of the cancelation process ive never known such rude staff in my entire life. I might be over reacting but im feeling a little furious |

Sadly Three Customer Service leaves a LOT to be desired.
When I terminated my contract with them last year the "helpful" chap on the other end of the line left me almost suicidal. You have my empathy; I hope you get it sorted out. |

I'm more unhappy about the fact that the IPad is being delivered tomorrow and I know I wont want to send it back so odds are il keep it lol just the whole experience of dealing with Three is a complete nightmare I advice people to stay away.

Their customer service can be dire at times, and it can be great at other times. It really depends who you speak to, and in my experience recently its better than what it used to be. Nowhere near O2 good though. Spoke to them about my upgrade last night and they were helpful helpful!

They're expecting a huge leap in new sign-ups over the rest of the year. An with companies like EE charging £61 a month for plans that have a 20gb limit its only getting easier for 3 to sign up new customers. |

£25 a month it does work out cheaper long term but the fact of the matter is I agreed a price with the adviser and if he was going to up the upfront cost he should of told me and not just took the money without my permission. That's what am most annoyed at and then the rude customer service agents I had to deal with when trying to cancel the order people not knowing what to advise me so they just hang up :S its rude
I feel like the three have tried to scam me as if I hadn't have checked my bank balance I would have just opened the IPad as usual not aware of the fact that I was on a completely different plan to the one that I agreed to (You cant return the product once its open) |

id take the offer, then after a month or so phone up tell them your not getting any signal in your house at all, tell them you get signal with voda or who ever, they will tell you someone from 2nd line support will call you back in a week or so, then when they call tell them the same (no signal in house) tell them it works perfect outside but as soon as in doors its completely no good
they will then offer you £5 of your monthly bill for the remainder of the contract, ive done this with all 6 of mine and my mom and dads contracts, £5 of every bill so instead of what would have been £30 it will be £20, thats a big difference over 2 years, sorted if anyone takes offense to what ive posted.....erm i wont tell if you don't

its more than worth a try, if you say you get 3g in your house with vodaphone but not three, you will deffo get the offer of £5 off per month
just remember you dont get 3g in doors (your house) but you do outside they might offer the home box or a fiver, take the fiver

remember its only the 2nd line support that can offer you this, they will phone you back after youve made the initial complaint, usually 3 to 5 days

plenty of others have this to, just say exactly what ive said
no signal in doors but perfect outside and you have no home internet so the three box thing is no good to you and say voda or o2 works perfect in your house so its deffo a three problem oh and remember its the 2nd line who will offer you this, no need to ask they should offer it you edit some might say its deceitful, id say its showing a bit of initiative

im game, you got any tips like ive posted
![]() Ring up your gas and electricity company and tell them you can't get gas or electricity in your home and they'll offer you a new boiler, but if you ask for the second line gas team and tell them what i said above then they'll knock a fiver off every month.... |
