Why do the task announcement times keep changing? I'm trying to stay focussed on doing this, but I do obviously have a life outside of this as do the others presumably, and it's quite difficult to always be online at times which have been given to us at the last minute. That was a rough schedule. If the days were always the same, you wouldn't have been able to do the Twitter task, or this task, effectively.

Well to be fair, the Twitter task did shake me a bit, though I did the best I could. That was different though, because on that we just had to be online as frequently as we could across the week, and it didn't require us to be online at a certain time. If you recall, our team was late setting up, and one of the key reasons for that is that I wasn't there when the task was announced, because I had already made plans before we'd been told when the task would be announced.

I just don't think it's fair to tell us to be online at certain times when the times are given with this little notice. If you think what I'm asking of you is unreasonable, then you could always quit. In the real Apprentice, tasks are sometimes sprung on candidates by surprise.

In the real Apprentice, things are different because the candidates don't have commitments outside of the tasks. They have back-to-back tasks, they are aware of that when they come into the process and they leave behind anything that may distract them. In this situation, we came into it under the impression that tasks would be given once a week, and we were given a schedule. At the moment, you are differing from the schedule and telling us to be online at certain times with very short notice when we potentially may have other commitments, and I don't think that's reasonable at all. It's not the fact that you're asking us to be online at certain times, it's the fact that you're changing it around so much and springing things on us at the last minute. You said previously that the task would be announced at 7pm yesterday, and it wasn't. Now you're telling us to be online at certain times less than 24 hours before that time happens. Am I supposed to entirely clear my schedule of all other commitments in case you suddenly change your mind about when something is going to be?
If you want me to quit, I will. I don't particularly want to, because I've come this far, I want to win this and I actually think I've got a good chance. But I'm a very honest and frank person, and if I think something is unfair or unreasonable, I will come right out and say so. Even though I'm trying to impress you because I want to win this, I feel that on this occasion you're being pretty unreasonable actually, and I have no qualms about saying that straight out. If you have a problem with that, then I'm clearly not right for you, and if you think I should go, say so and I will.
