The Answer released their new album today. Anyone getting it?

I got mine early from Pledge music and have been listening to it. I like it.

I see Def Leppard have finished recording the new album.

It would need to be successful as Phil needs a new shirt that buttons up.

I shall put it on order this week.

I recommend the new Trucker Diablo album as well. It has all the big riffs, hooks and melodies they do so well but there is also a darker side to the album at times. Songs like Somebody Save Me and the brilliant Murder Ballad take the band in a new direction.

Black Stone Cherry just announced a gig in Ulster Hall on 17th June (and other gigs). Might be a bit close to other gigs I have - The Who on the 15th and ACDC on 2nd July - though

I saw them last night at The Roundhouse. It was a great gig and they are really good live, and Lzzy did well to sing for the whole show as she is suffering from a cold at the moment and her voice when talking was quiet croaky at the start but improved through the show.

I also saw Never More on the support bill and they seemed quiet good and really like there drums. During the last song all 4 of them where playing some sort of drum at the same time.

They were really good in Cardiff too. Lzzy still seemed to be struggling between songs but never mentioned having a cold and her voice seemed as powerful as always. Her solo rendition of Hate It When You See Me Cry was stunning.

It wouldn't surprise me is a tour of the smaller arenas followed later in the year once the new album is released as they seem to have some momentum behind them now.

Talking of new albums, it seems the years of legal arguments are finally behind Tool and the new album is well on track!!

Tool work to speed up after 8-year legal fight ends

I love the fact the judge in the case who found in their favour was... Judge Randy Rhodes!

Just listening to the latest offering from Michael Schenker's Temple Of Rock. Three tracks in and f**k me this rocks. If you think the Scorpions album was good, this is even better.

I was hoping to have it sunday but amazon fu--ed up the order they claimed to have delivered it sunday by email but did not i searched my entire front door carpet area now i expect it to be delivered tomorrow.

They will be touring the UK again at the end of the year i asked Wayne Findlay last year wether a tour this year is on the cards.

Schenker has been back to his brilliant best now for a few years.

I ordered the deluxe CD/DVD from Amazon and haven't received it yet. I've been listening to the autorip download you get with Amazon music orders.

Can't wait to get the CD and rip it to FLAC though.

What the actual f*ck?

Clothing Chain H&M Creates Fake Metal Bands to Sell Merch, Releases a Song Called “Vaginal’s Juice Dripping into Cadaverous”
Update #2, 11:04am, March 24: Henri “Trollhorn” Sorvali, guitarist and keyboardist for Moonsorrow and keyboardist for Finntroll, is apparently one of the people behind the creation of the fake music to accompany H&M’s new clothing line. He claims “that the point of the project was “to point out the fact that you cannot commercialise a subculture without actually knowing all the different aspects of it.” More info here.
Update, 8:12 pm, March 23: Against all odds, this story has gotten even stranger, and Strong Scene now denies any official involvement with H&M. Read the latest here. Original story follows below.

Seems to be a total rip-off of She Sells Sanctuary. But not as good, predictably.
